2015 WOW event

Just discovered Seti.Germany has scheduled the annual WOW event for 8/15 to 8/29 2015. We had 13 Team Anandtech members participate last year. I have not registered yet but registration is open and will when we get closer. Plus they usually announce in the forum here at some point.

Last year there were well over 800 participants from 48 countries. There was even an individual from Pitcairn Islands if you can believe that. The Aussies were represented.
The event is set up to keep stats by group (astrological sign), by individual user, by country, and by teams. So you can parse the numbers about any way you like. It’s fun.

Alright, I've not run SETI for 35-40 years now, are there apps to choose from, and if so which pay best and are any likely to fail?

And I need a config file for a fast system with lots of RAM and a 280X Radeon please.

I run Lunatics optimized apps for SETI
Set up SETI in BOINC and then get and install the apps for the OS you are using. They do run much faster.

There are two apps. Regular and Astropulse.

I see I have mine set to only do regular ones, can't remember if it was because of better pay or less bandwidth.

Also, are Astropulse points counted for the race? (I can't remember how Astropulse points are counter for in SETI generally :$).
