Its better, but its still not all that great and there are many way better looking cars out there. I do like the back end though as has been mentioned, it looks like the back end of the sonota.

While last 2 generations looked very good, this one is much uglier and generic.

If I were to buy a Camry, I'd go with current 2014 model ASAP!

Personally I think modern auto styling is the worst it was been since the big tail fin days of the late 50's (possiby discounting the "I'm more macho than you" era of Dodges where everything looked like a RAM), and now Camry is jumping on the same bandwagon. Pimp up the car with lots of phony swopes, macho grilles, etc.

Improvement, not really. Just keeping up with phony trends. Put the effort into mileage, comfort and durability and Toyota will keep it's already huge owner base happy.

It's fine to look at from behind or side profile but damn that face...... makes me cringe.
Not sure why so many automakers are styling front ends to look like slack jawed catfish. The angular wide open bumper and diffuser with spray painted chicken wire must be really cheap to produce.

What is your favorite car design of all time?(or at least an example of something you like)

I rented one of those in FL recently. Talk about a small appliance-like car. I don't get what all the fuss is about with those cars. It was okay for a compact car but no way would I ever buy one.

Florida is not exactly a mecca for winding mountain roads, and rental places usually carry the "i" model with smaller rims and softer feel.

The red one looks okay, but the silver one looks frumpy as ever, and the wide mouth just odd.

i don't like the extension of the glass onto the c-pillar. if you're going to do that, go ahead and wrap all the way around like a mercury sable.

Mazda 3 is highly overrated. Standard equipment is non existent and price climbs faster than a mountain goat once options are added on. Car drives nice and gets good mpg but it doesn't stand out in any aspect imo.

You rented one, which means it was a 3i. The Mazda 3s is pretty much totally different car in terms of performance and fit and finish. The 3s is the award winning car, the car people make a fuss over.

The Mazda 3s is one of the best preforming mainstream compact cars on the road. The problem is it is also one of the most expensive. They aren't overrated, just overpriced.

the only wide mouth design that i think looks decent is the lancer

even then its still a little jarring esthetic. i dont understand why so many are imitating it. the lexus pinched top version makes even less sense.
