I only watch playoff hockey. Last year the Rangers had lame power play. This year too. They skate better than they score
 
Habs remember that they are supposed to put the round rubber disk into the net. Score 6 times and win.

I predict that they will come back and win the series 4-3.

Hawks sweep and the human parking cone known as Rasciasasdzasersvaval goes down with what is probably a career ending injury. Time to put Rundblad in. Should help offensively and I don't think he will be any more of a liability defensively as parking cone was.
Damn intense last 30 minutes of the game and just insane the last 5 minutes.
Thanks NHL for another late start and me being all wound up from the game and not being able to fall asleep right away.

Oh and we can blame my wife for the game being close. She got home from dinner with friends and the score was a nice 2-0. Shortly thereafter 2-1. She went upstairs to get ready for bed and 3-1.
I heard footsteps on the stairs and....yep, she sat on the couch. Suddenly it's 4-1 and I am feeling confident enough that I almost turned the tv off to get some sleep. But with her sitting next to me I left it on.

When it was 4-3 I was ready to kick to her out of the house.
 
Habs make history by not being eliminated down 3-1. Close game and the 2-1 win. Next game is Tuesday night and I will be in Madrid so will have to figure it out from there.

This Habs coming back thing is an awful scenario.
Tampa needs to close this shit out before game 7.
 
I just scored some sick tickets at the Verizon Center today...

Section 118, retails for 191 a ticket, got 2 7 rows away for 250 and already had them delivered wooop

The Habs coming back from down 3-0 is the Dream scenario and will set a new record for a club that it is almost impossible to set any more records on.

Games 1 and 3 could have gone either way. One lucky bounce for them and they would be up 3-2 now. I will cheer for them until the end. Their coach is still absolutely horrible.

TB hasn't really played good hockey all playoffs.
Not sure if that's because they cannot, or if they can find another level and be the team many of us thought they'd be.

If they manage to lose again, i wouldn't feel very good having to play a game seven with Price in net as he can pretty much win games on his own.

Looks like the Cup in going to go be going to a Western team again anyway though.
 
Tampa doenst play like they did in the regular season... Stamkos is hurt and invisible, Calahan will miss at least the next game du to minor surgery... Bishop is shaky yet awesome... It's hard to make a prediction.

Should be one hell of a game!!

Anaheim VS Chicago should be fun to watch.

Habs are dead. Lightening really stepped it up in Game 6 and Montreal was too flat.

I don't really care too much about the remaining teams. No one to even hate. I probably like the Rangers more than any other team but I doubt that I will follow the play-offs anymore this year.

i want to see caps/lightning next round--and while i prefer the lightning win, im ok with the caps going ahead.

TB really did play a different game last night, they had looked pretty weak before. glad they won but i was disappointed in how montreal came out
 
Can we get the finals started already. I look forward to the NHL having the Blackhawks start at 23:00 local time to accommodate the eastern finals.

Hawks brought a good game to The Pond, but noooope. Andersen was pretty much perfect. Very calm, made a couple of key saves and Ducks' D cleared out second chances. Good efficiency in the offensive zone as usual, even if Kessler, Getzlaf and Perry didn't even get a single point in between them.

Room for improvement in the early game, for the Ducks at least. Game 2 will be interesting.
 
Kinda surprised at game one. Ducks look like they might have an actual decent chance in this season.
 
These late starts and extra periods for the Hawks are killing me.
A little less than 4 hours sleep this morning as a result. Nice win.
