It's that time of year again!

The time when every year, the Oilers enjoy a longer summer vacation, and while other competently-run teams battle it out for Lord Stanley's Cup.

Post your predictions up guys!

Round one:
STL > MIN in 7
CHI > NSH in 6
WPG > ANA in 6
VAN > CGY in 5

OTT > MTL in 7
TBL > DET in 6
NYR > PIT in 5
WSH > NYI in 7

My NHL bracket (might modify before Wednesday)

League seems to really have hit parity to a point where it's incredibly tough to predict who's going to make it deep into the playoffs.
Should be very fun to watch.

Well, we have very different predictions. Will be interesting to see how things play out.

ottawa vs nashville for the finals no one cares about. 87 points led the league in scoring? No wonder no one cares about hockey, dead puck era.

Now I'll actually watch some hockey. So hard to watch Canucks games out here on the stupid east coast; games starting at 10:00 PM! :\

Props and thanks to those of you who are predicting a long run for my Preds. I'm hoping you're right, but they seem to have gone sideways the past 20 games.

Going to the first home Red Wings game!! I know, they'll probably be out first round but I still <3 them and it's the playoffs!! Anything can happen 🙂

I really hope the sixth gear, Playoffs Blackhawks show up, and not the offense-challenged team we saw at the end of the regular season. Rinne will eat the Blackhawks alive if they don't bring their A game.

Go Rangers! 🙂

It will be interesting to see how the Rangers do in the Playoffs. Vigneault is a good coach, but seemed unable to get consistent results in the Playoffs with the Canucks. Perhaps it wasn't his action/inaction responsible, but part of me will be watching the Rangers this Playoffs to see the result. Maybe we can get a Rangers/Canucks Final, that would be interesting. 😀

Perhaps, but they gotta get out if the first round. Then they have a free pass against van-cgy, since neither or those teams even really belongs in the playoffs.

Vancouver has been pretty solid this season.
