10mil for Murray? From the Eagles? That can't be right.. right?

Chiefs trade for Ben Grubbs.

It looks like 5 years $41 million is what is being thrown around. And, Murray stated he'd give Cowboys final chance to match any offer he was going to take before he took it. No thanks, is the only acceptable answer IMO.

You mean they're somehow going to finish that epic collapse with an encore performance?

Well yeah, it took a whole lot of dirty plays by the bitches in Indy to injure just about everybody on the Chiefs in that game. It's ok, if the two were to meet again, expect a curb stomping.

With 21 million guaranteed. I just don't see this being a deal Chip signs off on. #ThrowingShadeOnShady

Why would they need to injure a lot of players? They simply have to take out Charles and there goes Smith's entire ball catching lineup.

My numbers were a bit off, looks like $42 million with $21 guaranteed. Average of $8.4 million per year is way high for Murray. Sources indicated Dallas started calling around looking for another RB as soon as Murray left to meet Kelly. Kelly also opted out of Oregon's pro day in favor of meeting Murray in Philly. This complicates Ryan Mathews deal.

I believe AP is scheduled to make $9 million this season, so for what Murray wanted, the Cowboys could likely get AP. Vikings have said they would deal him out if he expressed no interest in playing for them. And, after, I believe, the GM was fighting to keep in suspended for longer last season, I don't see why he wouldn't jump ship when he has the chance.

Either you're really dumb, or just speaking out of your ass, or both, but Charles was out of that game after the second snap. And yes, they needed to injure the Chiefs in that game, and did.

Murray, Mathews and Sproles in Philly? That's a lot of mouths to feed the ball to.

Sources close to Mathews make it sound like he isn't likely to sign with Philly now that Murray has gone. That puts him as a back up, at best. And I'd take Sproles as my scat back over Mathews.

And who besides Charles caught a TD pass from Alex Smith last season again? Oh, that's right. Take Charles out, and their offense is kicking field goals. Easy, peasy, Frank Gore pounding down their throat squeesy.

Tight ends and others beside Charles. Anyways, I'm going to end this conversation here with you, I don't want to feel dumber.

It would be tough for you to get any dumber.

The Colts were injuring the Chiefs on purpose -- seriously, are you that dumb? The Chiefs were only ahead because the Colts were beating themselves.

I agree. Murray hasn't been a dud, but he has had injury and fumble issues. He isn't worth $9 million a year, especially when almost any back will do good in this scheme.

He is worth at least 2x what someone like Ryan Matthews is worth. I think Murray and his agent should be making that argument wherever they go.

Also, Matthews is a punk.

Come on, it wasn't just that. The Chiefs were playing well the whole first half, offensively and defensively. Hell even Alex Smith was playing stellar in the first half. Only reason the Colts came back is because Reid can't manage a game for shit and was doing terrible play calling, Sutton was even worse at calling defense in the second half of games, and Alex Smith had to Alex Smith it up when the team needed him the most.

Replays of the game are still available, feel free to watch it again. Lol@ beating themselves, I bet you're one of those "fan" that turned off your TV midway through the second quarter of that game. But it's ok, talk all the shit you want now because we all know the outcome.

The Colt's didn't beat themselves; they beat the Chiefs.

I'm still deciding if you're fozzy or saint_chief, but no dude, by the third quarter the Chiefs were out of offensive weapons, what little they had to begin with. And don't forget that sideline almost inbound catch by I-didn't-want-to-injure-my-foot Bowe.

No, I tuned in and watched the Chiefs and their epic meltdown the entire way. And of course we all know the outcome -- the Chiefs were sent packing and couldn't even make the playoffs this past season.

I'm sure the entire NFL is quaking right now: "Holy shit, SSSnail is telling us the Chiefs are going to be unleashed next year!"

Yup, the win by the luck, I mean Colts showed up the very next week as they got curb stomped by NE. Kinda like how when that one time Tebow got in the playoff. Enjoy the weak ass division that handed the Colts post season "success" the past 100 or so years.

And damn right, you heard it here first - Chiefs Super Bowl 2016 bound. :awe:

That would be further than the Chiefs got. And of course, they got further this year by even making the playoffs.

SSSnail tears are delicious........

Making the playoff from the AFC South is like winning the Special Olympics, you really just have to be less handicapped than the other guy.

The Chiefs wouldn't make the playoffs in the AFC South either. They'd be one step up on Houston if they're lucky. I mean, speaking of curb stomped, the Chiefs were curb stomped by the Titans last year. The same Titans who are picking second overall this year, if I remember. 😀
