Eagles also reportedly getting Frank Gore.. sad times in Niner land.

jinx you owe me beer

well I can buy the first few rounds

I was hoping Gore would stay there. Guy has been the heartbeat of that team for so long but all things come to an end.

Well the Jets took care of one major problem. Please let the Titans follow their lead and believe they can fix Cutler.

If Pace can draft the Bears might actually not blow in a couple of years.

I know Gore might be hitting the wall at his age, but I'll be surprised if the Niners don't draft an RB. Not sure I'd be comfortable with my backfield consisting of Carlos Hyde and Kendall Hunter.

Heard McCourty to resign with NE taking a home town discount for 5 yrs / $47.5m. Supposedly, turned down more money to stay a Patriot.

edit - updated numbers

while I am not a 49ers fan they have great talent on that team and flexibility. They had a rough year last year because of injuries and the backups werent as good against the run. if Dockett is a great addition and I wouldnt be surpirsed if they win 10 games next year though Capernickle isnt ready to go deep into playoffs yet.

Their record last year is not the problem. The problem is that the fucking idiots who own and manage the team freaked out over the record and fired the coach who revived a shitty a team and took it into deep postseason runs, and were predictably unable to hire a good outside replacement, because every coach in the nfl and and college knows the 49ers are run by utter imbeciles.

The San Francisco 49ers are going to be dogshit for years. They're going to trade kaep and then waste a high draft pick (fuck, the owners are probably stupid enough to trade up for a real high pick) on a qb while the rest of the team falls apart, all the while wondering why their bold moves aren't working, lol.

My fiancé was a 49ers fan, so I've been paying attention. "was" because I explained to her just how fucked they are, and she agreed.

I think the 49ers are actually making some smart moves. They are accepting they won't be contenders and dumping the big cap hits to go into rebuild mode. Hyde looked pretty good in his limited touches behind Gore, so I think they will do okay at RB, plus Gore is old. I think Gore is a decent vet backup, which is likely his role in the Eagles.

Buffalo has a press conference scheduled for 11:45am today... no word on what it's for yet. Odds are it's to officially announce something about Hughes, McCoy, Cassel, or even Bilal Powell. But who the hell knows at this rate. With Greg Roman as the OC...

If he wasn't a free agent, then Buffalo trading CJ Spiller for Kaep would be believeable.

The Raiduhs will spend $9mil on a center from the Chiefs.
Niners trading CK7 - yup it's false rumors guys. Relax.

I'd be willing to trade a bag of dicks for Kaepernick. That's about it.

I really don't get the Kaep hate. I mean, he isn't a franchise QB (yet?) and now he is in a great position to get better. The Niners are pretty much accepting mediocre, at best, season for the next couple years and that will give Kaep time to develop his passing game and grow.

Niners sign Torrey Smith and lose Patrick Willis to retirement.
Texans sign Hoyer and cut Andre Johnson.
And ButtFumble resigned for 2 years in Philly.

Good to see that the Raiders haven't completely regained their sanity yet. Fantasy owners of Latavius Murray gotta be happy though.

Texas close to signing Hoyer and signed Mallet.

Mccourdey made bank from Pats supringly.

Dwayne Bowe might as well be rolling around in a recliner on wheels during the games.

I can't believe Willis is retiring. Then Justin Smith too.. I just want the offseason to end.

Maybe we could start a legue of cuts where they play in recliners/

I would pay good money to see Tebow throw to Bowe in lazyboys.

Polian thinks Maclin is a good signing in Philly.Eagles really going trough a intersting makeover. I think they are gonna be better.

Consipiracy theory time.

Eagles dont trade up for Mariotta and they stand pat and draft Hundley. Hundley can thrive in that system. Heard it here first!

Buttfumble was a good signing for iggles. I think it was his play for the chicken nuggets that brought him back.

I thought both of those guys had something left. Two of my fave players of all time. Willis was a man among boys for so long. Sad to see him go.

Weird rumor flying around of Kap being traded

Hoyer on the fence between the Jets and the Texans. Personally, I'd go with the Jets, because even during practice, having Watt come down on you has to be scary.
