You guys want to do a NFL mock draft with members picking their teams? I could make a pdf big board and we could take turns.

I'm willing if we get enough interest. I like picking teams I don't have a rooting interest in, that way I can get a better sense of where the values are and what other teams are looking for. Thus I'm happy to pick some team on the back half of the draft that typically goes unloved like CAR or DET. Whatever team doesn't get picked up by someone else, I'll take.

Aldon Smith restructures his 100% guaranteed contract to an incentive based one. Not sure if he was pressured by the team or not.

I think he was worried he would get cut or it was a good faith gesture hoping to get a big deal next year.

Jerome simpson signing and Dockett signing are good for niners beause they wont count against compensatory picks. They could get multiple picks based on who they are gonna lose even a 3rd rounder.

Jacoby Jones just signed with San Diego. He wasn't a FA for long.

Colts opt out of Wayne, so he is a FA.

Colston restructures to help cap space in NO.

And rumors have the Cowboys looking at Suh. Can't say I'd feel bad if we let Murray get a big deal somewhere else and picked up Suh. He certainly would help out D out a lot more.

Dibs on 49ers :p

Aldon restructuring helps with short term cap relief to sign FAs before Brooks gets his June 1st cut. It's pretty much guaranteed as long as he suits up but places the cap hits later in the year. Shows good faith to the organization as well to possibly get an extension done if he has a clean off season.

Though the DA said he won't go after Ray McDonald.. he might be targeting another 49er. Just hope to god it isn't Aldon.

For as talented as Aldon is, he really needs to show he can not screw up now. I will give you the gun charge as BS (because it was...), but he still has had issues. I think this restructuring is more about him trying to prove he can handle being in the organization.

And, it looks like Jets are looking to cut Harvin. Man, this guy must be literally Hitler to have such hasty exists.

I knew he was trouble after he started missing practice his first year because of migraines. Don't get me wrong . I get them I get it but he's a pussy about it. I've worked trough them.

If your in the League for as long as he is and still not know how to run the route tree he's gotta be dumber than a box of rocks.

Worse than being an idiot though is his attitude and me first bullshit.

I would be concerned for aldon. Wasn't there a report that multiple players were there

beastmode to sign a 1 year deal with the chickens.

jets going to dump harvin because they reduce the pick they gave up for him and he's not worth the 10.5 mil. doesn't mean they wont' try to resign him cheaper.

Beastmode held them hostage and won. I bet its his last year if they dont win it all.

Looks like they want him to be the face of the nfl or does 10million not count beastmode.

Todd Gurley first round to seachickens. If hes gone then Tevin Coleman or they go receiver.

I can't see the 'Hawks taking Coleman in the first, or maybe even at all. A guy whose comp is almost always Darren McFadden doesn't seem like the kind of guy they normally pick. My guess is they'd take Jay Ayaji before Coleman.

Anyone remember the last time a big name free agent re-signed with his team after he hit the free market?

Looking like $114 million deal all but signed in Miami.

Chris Johnson shot in drive by, in stable condition.

Also, Ingram inked another 4 years with Saints. Shady agrees with $40 million deal with Buffalo.

Good signing for the saints. Guy signed a team friendly deal I think somebody out there wanted to pay more.

Colts sign Todd Herrimans for 3.5M one year. Great signing for the colts. While Herrimans was weak in pass protection his run blocking is still great and he should benefit from the scheme indy uses blocking wise in pass protection.

Maxwells deal for 53 million over 5 years to eagles

WOW big ass money for a number 2 CB.

Pot Roast sweepstakes under way. Bears considered front runners. I bet he makes 8 million a year. MAN FA numbers are gonna be bloated this year. I bet the smart teams wait till the end again and get some vets on the cheap. I mean wtf buster skrine could make 8 million a year.

Miami's D just got a serious upgrade. I don't think the Lions should have resigned Suh for that kind of money, primarily because we aren't anywhere near a SB, and I think he would have eaten up too much cap, but I did want him back because he's a monster. We have holes at LT, and CB, and that 11-5 season was flukie anyway. Life without Suh goes on. If our offense doesn't vastly improve, the Suh signing wouldn't have made that much a difference overall.

And paying a DT north of 15 million/yr is risky. But I think he's made Miami a legit team.

I can't imagine going up against Wake Cameron on the end AND Suh up the middle. That is going to wreck teams. I do think this was a good move for Detroit to not pay Suh what he is worth. They need a lot more than Suh to complete their team and money can be better spent elsewhere.

Suh didn't want to be in Detroit. He shut down talks before the start of last year, though I don't think we offered him a deal. I just read we offered him 17 million a year, with 58 million guaranteed before he took the 'Fins deal. They should have traded him if he didn't sign knowing the F-tag wasn't an option because of that salary.

If he wanted to be here, 2 million a year wouldn't have caused him to leave.

The Eagles were VERY smart to dump Leshawn before they were stuck with a big salary. Very forward-thinking move.
