Looks like they took some stuff out of it, including the drivers seat.

These guys have been playing with the programming. They are running a NOS bottle with 150 shot. This is the best they've done with the car so far.

Edit: just saw what madoka posted above me.

That 135 mph trap speed is telling. 135mph = ~ 650rwhp , impressive for what they've done.

Having grown up with 60's and 70's muscle cars, there was I time when I thought factory high performance was doomed, due to EPA regulations. Nice to see that technology has brought us to where horsepower and emission control can co-exist. :)

And modern muscle is absolutely crushing the muscle car era. The new horsepower ratings tell the story.

A gen5 Camaro SS makes 380 rear wheel ponies and a modern chassis dyno, with a 377 ci. small block engine (6.2L). They put the 3 most powerful muscle cars of the 60's/70's on the same dyno, the L82 Vette, Hemi 'Cuda and 429 Boss Ford on the same dyno and they all made around 280 h.p.

Wow that thing squats so hard on the launch. Would be curious what it does without the nitrous.
