Seems in the same vein as a zrx or z1000.
That genre of bike is a LOT of fun if you don't care about dragging knees. Some of my best memories are on, of all things, an intruder 800 with shortened forks and stiffer springs. Also had a tl1000s streetfighter with upright bars that was a blast.
Yeah, they look horrible now...![]()
Those last two sure do. To each their own I guess...
the muscle bike segment is up my alley....yetbut it would be fun as hell to own a diavel or a vmax!
V-Max is pretty awesome, the bummer is it really does look like something out of the Power Rangers. They went way too far over the top.
i thought it sold poorly and Duc is gonna can it.
Breaking the sales figures down by categories, Ducatis naked models accounted for slightly more than half of its total sales over the first three quarters. Sales of the various Diavel, Monster and Streetfighter models accounted for 18,558 motorcycles, or about 50.6% of all sales. Hypermotard and Multistrada models (including the Hyperstrada) sales make up 11,407 units while sportbike sales totaled 6,697 units for the first nine months of 2013.
I didn't realize that Ducati was boutique manufacturer.
I don't think I'd call them a boutique manufacturer. The factory is pretty modern and they do have quite a bit of automation from what I've heard from people who have visited it and they don't really offer custom versions of their product.
