Grabbed Hammerwatch (with expansion) for $1.49. That's insane value even if I only play it for an hour. Because of deals like this I don't see how anyone can say Steam sales are bad unless they already own every game they ever wanted.

Have Endless Legend and Styx already been Daily/Flash/Community sales? If so I'll have to wait for last day for those.

Defense Grid 2.. anyone liking that one? how is the coop?

Defense Grid 1 is my favorite tower defense game, with like 180 hours played. Kept trying hard missions without ever looking up how to do them, because it was fun.

DG2 looks like Blizzard took it over, with colorful (read - ugly) graphics. It is panned for being very easy, with no strategy at all - no more routing, the path is pretty obvious in tight maps and people win just by spamming turrets in obvious spots.

And, perhaps the biggest issue I have - charging money for other peoples maps they make. It's great that there is now a map editor, but to charge for those maps is just a plain greedy cash-grab. It's hard, but I refuse to support this, and will miss out if the game really is good. RIP DG IP imo.

Correct me if I'm wrong on anything.

More like there are still good deals but the featured deals and daily deals are not worth much and they rearranged the store page so it is counterintuitive and basically nothing more than PITA to look at what sales are currently available.

I wanted SW. I can't believe it is $3.99. ON THAT.

update; thought I'd try demo first. Is solid. I played the original way back when...

I picked up Total War Rome 2 so far. The first tutorial battle looked fantastic, but I don't like that they changed cities from Shogun 2; instead of a representation of the buildings and the city itself, it is just a black box with icons.

Grim Dawn is on sale for 50%, which imo is totally worth it. If you like gritty ARPG games, you'll love it. Same people that made Titan Quest.

Thinking about getting AC3, but I got bored in AC Revelations and never finished it. First AC game I never finished, so on the fence about AC3.

The deals are a tad underwhelming. I usually have a tough time deciding which bargains I am going to buy and never get around to playing.

Shadow Warrior is a steal for only $3.99. Honestly, it's such a great game, and it's been on sale for so cheap so many times, there's no excuse for any Steam user to not have it at this point.

Edit: It has 96% "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews on Steam, with almost five thousand reviews. If that doesn't convince you, I don't know what will.
