And they are stupid. They had a team and nobody showed up. They got another, with one of the best running backs in history (Bo Jackson) and nobody showed up. When you can sell more tickets in shitty Oakland than you can in LA, you know something is wrong.

Tavon Austin acknowledged he struggled to learn the Rams' playbook as a rookie.
It's worth noting Austin scored a 7 on his 2013 Wonderlic test. "I didn't really know what was going on," he said. "Everything looked like Spanish and sounded like Spanish to me." Entering his second season, Austin now claims to have OC Brian Schottenheimer's system down pat. He's expected to be a sub-package weapon, playing limited snaps. Austin is a long shot for steady WR3 value.

I'm guessing Rice felt the healing process was just taking too long and he knew he would not be close to 100% come season start. Best move he could have made, save his body from future harm. Besides, he only had like what 2 good seasons?

Unless the Broncos owner is Tony Dungy I think a forced sale is safe.

well, considering they only gave this raging piece of shit 3 games after one conviction, following a long, long history of beating his wife, trying to kill her on a few occasions, and trying to kill his son--I'm surprised NFL didn't throw a parade for this one.

No. I don't see any possibility of a forced sale.

Bolen has long had a succession plan in place. IIRC, his lawyers have put the ownership in a trust and the current president is going to continue on in charge as has been the case until one of Bolen's children is ready to take over. Bolen started experiencing symptoms something 5 years ago. Everything has been prepared for this moment.

Man that SUCKS for the dude, his NFL career might be over. The Colts are really going to need Trent Richardson to step up, I wonder if they regret letting Donald Brown walk.
