Anyone know what the criteria is? American Airlines, Chase and Google surprise me. I would have figured Delta would beat out AA by a bazillion miles or more - Citi beat out Chase and, well, I guess I just plain don't see Google at all compared to the likes of Comcast, Walmart and BofA

Agree that the seeding sucks. Should be Comcast vs. Bank of America for the title.

How do you figure Delta beating out AA??

Only because geeks are the ones voting. Let me ask you this, how many people do you know who game enough to care about EA? Now, how many people do you know who eat?

out of those "eaters", how many have any clue how their food is created or brought to their mouths? i'm willing to guess fewer people have seen slaughterhouses or know that bananas are created by man, than have seen the cover of an EA product.

You're probably right. Damn, that's sad.

Nearly every crop we consume today has been genetically modified in some way. Mostly through selective breeding stretching back centuries, or Borlaug style selective breeding, or modern GMO production. Even animals have gone through this (ie, cows weren't always as dumb or tasty as they are now).

Unfortunately you are correct: most people fail to understand this. The arguments I have been in with hardcore organic food only people is a sad testament to this. Most don't even understand that GMO foods can be grown (and labeled) organically. Most think that the wheat/corn/peppers/meat/etc they eat was never selectively bred, and evolved that way on its own.

In other news, there are some really, really cool bananas. Like this bright pink one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musa_velutina

And Comcrap should win, just out of principle.

Well:
Sky Pesos
Difficulty finding award space
Horrid pricing of oneway awards
(Their Mile program is terrible. Might be the worst of any major airline in the world. AA mile program is effing amazing - esp if you can work with an Explorer Award)
Lackluster lounges esp at major hubs
Gift cards that expire the soonest of any major airline
You can't use their gift cards at delta.com
You can't buy gift cards online
Higher hub premiums than I've seen with other airlines
Booking skyteam partners on delta.com is more difficult than united or AA esp for more complex itineraries
Perhaps the most illiterate phone agents I have ever encountered
Behind the times Business/First class offerings
General crappy customer service experiences

Just off the top of my head

My company is one of the worst to work for. We should be on this list too. I can't mention who they are because their policy states you can be fired for speaking negatively about them.

RSTLNE

Give us those Wheel of Fortune "RSTLNE" letters so I know never to work for them.

In case you're not aware, that site is like a blog of customer complaints about the stupidity of companies. A few positive stories sprinkled in for good measure. It's the people who participate at that site who nominated the 32 "teams."

final four should be att, ticketmaster, b of a, and comcast. Ticketmaster taking it all.

Paypal and Best Buy knocked out of the first round? Bull

I had to look up Sallie Mae to find out it's some student loan website so that alone makes no sense why it's facing something like paypal.

Palpal should had been against something like ebay as they both are the issue with one another and ebay should had won as paypal is used so much more and works everywhere except for ebay like we have seen.

As for best buy it's hard to win when you are up against walmart.

What's wrong with chase? I've had no issues with them and haven't read anything sharky about them.

I think the ones that get shut down / bankrupt should be the winners more so then the ones like EA who are just assholes.

Then again with the crap of the recent simcity 5 I think we know who will be up there again.

If they're shutdown they're no longer a company and don't qualify to compete for the title of "Worst Company in America".
