And what poor voters Steam has, not voting for that and voting for Dragon Lair for a whole $1.69 more off instead of Kentucky Route Zero for aobut $6 more off.

Oops, my bad. Most of the Votes I didn't even know what I was voting for..just wanted the cards.

Turned out it looks like it's ending on the 22nd, so it was 11 days of sales over 12 days rather than 12 days of sales over 13 days.
That's certainly a shame. I was looking forward to one more day of deals.:(

Cool I got a foil card on my last day :D wonder if Prison Architect is worth anything. Should I keep it and wait or what, its not even $5?

Another hidden gem:

I noticed that Risen is still like $4. If you like RPGs and have never played it it's definitely worth that.

Is it weird that I can't find a list of the Community Choice winners/losers anywhere? I don't remember if I voted for the last one (I know I didn't vote for Blood Dragon), but I can't find what the other choices were.

My Google-Fu is weak...still weird, though.

The winners are listed in this thread. I don't think anyone is keeping track of the losers.

I didn't buy anything :(

My friend gifted me CS:GO so my wife bought it and surprisingly she likes it.

Ya, it just isn't formatted nicely. Got a good number of duplicates for later gifts etc. not listed here for some reason.

If you want to make some money (and are willing to spend a few minutes), buy the Summer Sale cards......the prices are going up.

I bought about $5 worth yesterday in the $0.04 (just lucky once!) to $0.13 range. Turned that $5 into $8.

Disclosure: I currently don't have any cards for sale....so please don't think I'm here trying to pump up the price. I'm happy with the few bucks I have made!

Edusan can quit bitching now, mortal kombat komplete is on sale.

hahaha and i did stop bitching, not only because they added MK9 to the sale, but they also added transformers fall of cybertron at the same time, which was the other game i was willing to buy.

so, once again, steam shut me up.

thanks for remembering my bitching (?)

So... summer sales are over, this is my damage

- Tomb Raider (amazon)
- Tomb Raider DLC (the one that is a dungeon sp map)
- The Cave (gmg)
- Borderlands 2 and seasson pass (gmg) (only wanted the seasson pass, the game was for a friend)
- Fallout New Vegas
- System Shock 2
- Strike Suit Zero
- Sonic & All stars racing transformed (played some hours of this with a friend, SUPER fun, better than i expected)
- The Incredibles adventures ofVan Helsing (from what i played, pretty solid arpg)
- Mortal Kombat Komplete
- Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

Spent more than what i thought i would... but got almost everything i wanted, except Metro Last light, gonna get that one for...next big sale...which is... black friday?

edit: btw, i started playing Tomb Raider, everything maxed out, game runs perfectly but on the cutscenes, when the camera gets too close to lara i get fps drops, guess its from the super hair effect? nobody had that fps drop in cutscenes?

I considered getting Mortal Kombat, but the problem is... the game came out so late on the PC, that it's still cheaper on the consoles. :\ I paid $16 for the Komplete Edition months ago for the 360. In similar fashion, I don't think I've played it yet!

I was rather disappointed that there was no other way to get badges except through cards.

You either have to vote 3 times a day, buy games, or buy cards. I voted every time, and kept getting duplicate cards. How am I supposed to get the 2013 summer achievement badge if I get duplicate cards? Why not just make it so if you vote 15 times then you get the badge?

I feel that valve / steam is moving away from being a consumer driven company, to being a profit at every corner company.

The sales were ok, but nothing I have not seen during the midweek madness and weekend deals. Skyrim never came close to the sale price it was 4 or 5 months ago.

The lowest price I saw the standard edition go was $20.99! I can remember a sale of Skyrim w/Oblivion around that price!

Did skyrim hit $20 during the summer sale? I thought it got down to around $25.

But either way, if skyrim hit $20 4 or 5 months ago, why didnt it go lower during the summer sale?

Actually, even if you voted 3 times a day, you still wouldn't get enough cards to complete a badge. There were only 29 (edit: fixed) voting opportunities, so you could only get 9 cards.

most people would trade your spare summer sale cards 1:1 with another summer sale card... i finished my badge like that.

Sell your duplicates for the current price, use proceeds to buy the cards you need for the same price. Or trade with friends. I don't disagree that the cards are stupid, but if you want the badge, that's the easiest/cheapest way to do it.
