Amazon has Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon right now for $5, but the DRM is listed as "Uplay". Does this mean it will just be on Steam with Uplay integration, or will this require some other annoying game client?

AFAIK, all Ubi games require Uplay which means DRM on top of DRM if you get the steam version.

That link shows Uplay only, so, this doesn't seem to be the steam version.

Actually..on the opposite end. The game itself would be fun, if it weren't ruined by Ubisoft. I had a post months ago about my experience with this game and why I won't touch it anymore.

Voted in today's Community Choice, which earned my a Globe. 30 seconds later picked up Guacamole which put me over $10 in purchases, did NOT get a new globe. WTH Valve? 🙁

Edit: Nevermind. Seems that the purchase status bar does not reset to $0 after making a $10 purchase, instead it extends out to another $10 increment. So, I've made over $20 in purchases before Guacamole and the yellow progress bar was close to the right hand side, so visually it looked like I only needed a purchase of a couple more dollars to make $10 in purchases (on a scale of $0 to $10), however, the bar appends so what I was really looking at was on a scale of $0 to $30. Looks like I still have a $1.70 to go. Or maybe it's too early and I just was reading it wrong?

Anyone have any opinions of Endless Space? What's the average game time of a campaign? What's the best/worst part about the game?

Anybody play Tower Wars?? Is it worth the 1.99???

It's on my wishlist, so I must have been interested in it at some point. But I have so many games waiting, including tower defense games, that it's likely to be on sale again by the time I would be ready to play it.

Has anyone played WarGame: Air Land Battle? It's a daily deal for 75% off and I don't think I've seen it at the $9.99 level before.

My brother thinks it looks good and was thinking of playing it multiplayer with me. I read the reviews and understand the complexity, but I'm a Combat Mission vet so I'm not concerned. But if anyone has ever played it I wouldn't mind some opinions.

And also, is $9.99 a good price? Or should I be holding out for a flash sale?

Flash discounts are always the same as daily deal discounts. If it's on a daily deal for $9.99, then that's the lowest you can expect to see it for the duration of the sale.

I haven't played Airland Battle for myself, but I watched a buddy of mine play it for a while. Really really cool-looking RTS. If you have any interest in military strategy whatsoever I'd say it's worth checking out.

Always wondering about this myself--but users here have given it very lukeward reviews. From what I recall, very buggy, very thin content. I think ship building was cool, but the battles and campaigns very lackluster and non-engaging, or something like that.

It's been on my wishlist for a while now, but I continue to wait until the ~$5.00 range.

Sleeping Dogs is an awesome game. Has to be one of if not the best $5 game I've ever bought. Graphics are awesome as well. Getting 40-50 ish fps on 1080p with a highly overclocked 280x on extreme settings.

I'm here too, $8.74 for the game & DLC seems like its a pretty low risk bet.

I have Wargame European Escalation, and there are a lot of cool ideas and fun things, but single player felt like you had to know each map and every enemy location before playing; losing veteran units sucked when I didn't realize I'd trigger an attack by scouting an area for example.

Haven't played the multiplayer.

I hated it, but I only played it two hours. Had a better time with Stardrive, but didn't love it either. Felt like I got burned on 4X's this year.

Broke the first rule of steam sales and bought a 4 pack of Magicka. Wanted to dole it out to some friends for x-mas.

I'm about to buy Sanctum 2 Season Pass. I know it's only a flash sale, but it's 75% off. I don't think it's going to get cheaper than that.
