I want one... I want one really badly...

Okay, I couldn't read the page because it has apparently beaten AdBlock...crap all over the place and a bunch of noise...
...it looks nice. A little C6-ish in the front, but it's a pretty natural evolution from the older Vipers.
Still got that truck motor in it?
Also, I hope they'll fix a few things...like the burn-your-ass wide door sills...general lack of amenities...ect...
Not because I really care that much...I think the Corvette should just be sold as a stripped-out track car. But I want to see the Viper be competitive, rather than Dodge just saying, 'well, this is what we wanted, so this is what we did! *immediately goes bankrupt*'

I didn't see a single ad with firefox and adblock plus.
What? Reading and photo comprehension fail? They say (and I'll quote this verbatim), " it not only smells wonderful, but it is hand down the nicest interior I've ever seen from a domestic automaker."The page is normal now...no background noise. Odd.
I was looking through the photos...that thing is pretty damned gorgeous.
I don't know if I believe their praising of the interior, though. It seems a lot like the 'vette to me....don't be bothered with actual engineering; just cover things in leather with bulky stitching, 'cause that = high end. I'd much rather have well-made fake materials than leather covering creaky thin plastic.
But that's just pessimism...well, realism...I could certainly be wrong. But I can just already so vividly feel those silver plastic parts flexing and creaking in my hands...
Also, for being so supposedly totally redesigned, I'm wondering why they kept the HMMVW-like center console. It seems much better than before, but I think I'd prefer some round edges. I guess maybe that design is just kind of a signature of the car.
edit: staring at it more, and thinking about how I'd be seated in it...I think that console would actually really get on my nerves. I have long arms and I'm pretty sure my elbow would jammed into that thing all the time. I'd end up all Egor-looking with a higher right shoulder...

Seriously. Leather lined dashboard from the same supplier that sells it to way Ferrari.
I saw one in person, I like it, it's much improved and makes a nice sound.
But, I'm getting (as in building) one of these instead as my weekend fun car:

Faster, more fun, half the price, and personally I think it's more attractive.
What brand? Cobra kits are cool and all, but they're just so 'played out,' so to speak. Factory Five has like six kits, and I'd build five of them before I would the Cobra...
Ugh... Can you be positive, for once? Or at the very least stop ragging on everyone's opinion simply because it doesn't match yours.
If he wants to build a cobra kit then WTF is your issue? He's building what he likes/wants, who cares if it's.... "played out"
