ATS-V will never ever happen. GM could never put up with the unprecedented QQ from Corvette owners ....
Only reason there is a ZL1 and CTS-V is because they are 4200+ lbs and don't pose a threat to the Corvette.
It literally looks exactly like a CTS
Why AWD?
2.0-liter turbo 70 horses at 5,300 RPM and 260 lb-ft at just 2,400 RPM
3.6-liter V6, which offers 318 horsepower at 6,800 RPM and 267 pound-feet of torque at 4,900 RPM
Yeah the 2.0 sounds gutless to me.
It would be the one that I'm thinking of getting. Hope you can get it with the manual and awd but I'm not holding my breath.
All those engine choices are for the regular ATS. Not the V version.
So there's still hope.![]()
I wasn't referring to the V version, while they are great cars they are also much more expensive and less practical as a daily driver.
I was referring the the standard LS3. This would be a much less expensive and more practical alternative to the supercharged 550+ HP V series engine. I have never understood why such an engine was never an option for the CTS platform and apparently also missing from this new platform.

You mean the LS2? LS6 was pre-06.It was pretty close - the LS6 was in the CTS-V prior to '09.

how hard would it be to put a turbo or supercharger on the V6 they are offering?
Probably the next logical step. Talk is that the Corvette may feature a twin-turbo V6.
Never. They will go with a high revving small displacement 32v V8 like the C4 ZR1 before they ever put a V6 into a Corvette.
I just can't get around to the vertical head and tail lights. Cadillac is definitely on the right track...but they need to get rid of these legacy design queues.
