Based on states like Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont I did not realize had turned Red.

States obviously have Red and Blue tendencies.

Many states have turned red over the years with many more falling under the brainwashing spell of the rich and religious Republicans.

Look no further than Wisconsin for example which I believe is the pivotal state for this general election cycle as the spillover from the Recall effort continues with funding by the Koch brothers and all other Republican backed money flowing into that state.

Florida used to be a blue state.

Ohio used to be a blue state.

Indiana used to a blue state.

They are falling like dominoes.

You don't know what on earth you're talking about. Indiana traditionally votes Republican and in the last election, went to Obama. That was the first time Indiana went blue in a long, long time.

Not all of them... It seems that most of them do, though. I think that it's safe to say that any Republican on the ticket is guaranteed 40% of the vote simply due to party affiliation.

Dave, you are the same guy who predicted that Hawaii would go Republican in 2008, a state Obama ultimately won by 45 points. I still remember you saying that McCain didn't even need to campaign it was such a sure thing... all up to the time when he was demolished by Obama who had the biggest popular vote total in 20 years and the largest electoral college ass kicking since 1996.

You are now choosing to color Wisconsin, a state Obama won by 14 points as Republican this time around too despite the (spare) polling indicating significant Obama victory there as well.

I think VA will go blue again, but NM and CO might not. I gave MA to the reds in case Romney is the candidate, but even then that might not be enough. Should be a reasonably close election, and again it all comes down to FL or OH.

Florida was a Blue state in the 2008 Presidential election and most likely will be again in 2012 because the GOP doesn't have anyone that can beat Obama (and Paulbots, please don't try to claim that RP could beat him because there's not a chance in hell that would happen).
