2011 Toyota Odyssey, I mean Sienna

But "daddy like"!

It actually looks nice to me in those new ads. Ads which, I'll add, are funny to a guy already emasculated enough to buy a van (hi) but not one who hasn't yet bought one.

Not a huge Toyota fan, but this seems like a nice van. Also has available I4 for fuel sippers and AWD for the ski trips, which Odyssey doesn't. I think MotorTrend that I was reading liked the handling of it too. Apparently guy who designed it used to work on sports cars before getting this minivan project.

Drove one myself. Drives much smoother than an Odyssey. It handles better IMHO also. The seats are way more comfortable, particularly the captains chairs in the middle. I test drove and took home a 2010 Odyssey and 2011 Sienna, both for about 4 hours of playing around and getting the feel of them. I'll take the Sienna over the Odyssey any day.

Two neighbors got vans a year or two back, one a honda one the toyota. I think the one who got the toyota wanted a honda but they were basically the same van and honda was being a dick with the price, so they got the toy-yoda.

the 2011 mazda 5 actually looks pretty nice. if i was buying a 4 cylidner mini van well that would be it. though it is a lot smaller than the sienna.

I wonder if it's now equipped with seats as uncomfortable as the odyssey too?

I don't know what seats you have been sitting, but the Ody has the most comfy seats of all vans.

Mazda 5 is nice for what it it is but a minivan it ain't; it's a microvan. Much, much smaller than the Mazda MPV which itself (albeit and sadly discontinued in the US) is smaller than the Honda or Toyota.

Pics of the 2011 Odyssey look nice.
