2011 Steam Summer Sale:DEAD!

Again today I regretted getting ME2 from EA direct a few months back for ~$10. I thought I was going to play it right away back then, but nope, I haven't touched it since I got it. I'm actually tempted to buy it again for $6.80 just to have it on Steam.

I'm also still waiting for DeathSpank (first or second, or both) and hoping they would be on the daily deal before this sale is over (2 more days?)
 
I broke down and bought Just Cause 2 when it was $5, I haven't had this much crazy fun in a action game in a long time.

I also finally intsalled Batman AS that I got over the xmas sale, pretty cool too although I grew out of beat em ups years ago. On this note - it installed GFWL, someone earlier in the thread mentioned about FO3 - it also has GFWL off the CD to play. I forgot about that, but the same account popped up when I installed Batman.

Yeah, crazy fun. I actually threw the game on easy so I can just completely screw around in the game, running all over and crashing fire engines, etc. Good times!

I watched the first two episodes of Game of Thrones last night and it really makes me want to start King's Bounty. May do so this weekend. :hmm:

so the general consensus is that FO3 will work for you, or it won't? seems to be no consistent reason for why it may be broken on some systems as opposed to others.

The only GFWL game that i have is B:AA, and I hadn't had problems with it...yet.

I've been waiting for FO3 for a long time, and hoping this is the time to bite...


Are ME2 DLC also on sale?

ME 2 DLC is not available anywhere except through Bioware/EA and I have never seen it go on sale.

Dude, I have 3 different versions of FO3 GOY, I can send you one for free. None of them worked on my system, so it's an issue on my end somewhere and they would likely work for someone else.

I'll see if I can find both hard copies; I have one on Steam and two physical. If I can find both physicals I'd happily give one to zin then one to you. They are useless to me unfortunately and one was a gift. 🙁

I believe it was some technical issue with shadows on modern graphics cards with the game. it would make some areas where you had to sneak impossible to complete.
