So, out of curiosity, how many tickets do you guys have? I have 22, I've only bothered with the ones that were easy enough to do and for games I actually have(seen people on other forums just buying the games for tickets lol).

14...I could have more but I already redeemed the only prize that seemed worthwhile for me (Defense Grid DLC), plus cosmetic stuff for TF2 and MNC (don't care about stupid hats or glasses), if I decide to get the achievements for the rest it would be to increase my chances of getting 10 free games, but that's probably one in several million.

I've just been picking up the stuff that is for the games I have, plus the free game Alien Breed 2. The prizes aren't all that great, but as far as I'm concerned they are freebies and I don't go out of my way to try and get a ticket. Most only take a few minutes at least. Plus it doesn't hurt to at least have a slightly better even if it is lotto like chances at winning the grand prize lol.

Every time I try to download a video for daily activity Steam shits out & freezes up. What the gay?
I got the ticket for it, but when it finished downloading the video and I clicked "play" strange shit happened on the screen, aero got temporarily disabled and then the video started playing in full screen mode, and didn't allow me to get out. My verdict is the feature is poorly implemented.

I think they had same activity during xmas sales. I had no problem back then. Not sure why it's acting up now.

If you have any that are already downloaded just rewatch them. That worked for me.

Oh by the way:

Counter-Strike: Source
Happy Camper - Get 2 kills standing in the same spot with a zoomed sniper rifle

Ha. CSS is going to be soo much fun to play in during the next couple of days.

I just came here to say: I just started playing Sanctum and it's AWESOME. It was a bit disorienting at first walking around a tower-defense map in first person, but once you get used to it, it's a blast. It's sweet being able to jump around on top of your towers, watching waves of baddies get shot down and then firing at them with your weapon when you feel like it. I'm glad I bought this game.

I literally just started playing it too; the singleplayer experience is great as it is, I haven't even touched multiplayer yet.

Yeah, I've sunk a couple of hours into today already and really enjoyed it so far. I checked out the Steam forum for it and the devs are really active with the community, apparently a fair amount of stuff that is being added into the game is player suggested too :D

Dammit. I'll give Sanctum a try then but I'm not too impressed by the metacritic score.

Oh hey. Zinfamous is playing it right now. Hey Zinfamous! /wave

The reason for the lukewarm Metacritic score is because the game was severely lacking in features when it first came out. However, it's been heavily patched since release with a lot more content, and all of the kinks have been ironed out. It's easily a top-tier indie title now.

I picked up Sanctum. Pretty fun so far. One thing I didn't 't like is when you remap your keys the tutorial doesn't adjust it's tips based on your new configuration but it just goes through it's preset messages.

Retribution and Torchlight have turned out to be a blast. SWKOTOR looks too dated for me. Tropico--I'll need to invest more time sometime and I've still to play Darksiders.

Picked up Rift Collector's Edition for $15, seems like a good price for a free month to check it out. Not sure if I will keep subscribing thought.

I've got 30. I haven't went too far out of the way to get any tickets, and I skipped the ones that would be annoying. It's caused me to play a lot of games I never played before or play games I forgot, so I like the idea.

I also haven't bought any games solely for the tickets. I only bought games that I knew I'd like beyond the tickets and achievements.

Heh. Yea.

But quick tip for those who want the achievement. It's pretty simple, and you can get it by playing bots. Create your own server with bots and have them only equipped with knives. It's like shooting fish in a barrel.

I think I only have 10 total tickets :(

I've only bought a few things though, and really only get the non-game acheivement things. The only game based one I got is the L4D2 one. I'll probably get the CSS one today though if I remember. I don't own most of them and didn't care to buy them. The few things I HAVE bought didn't have ticket acheivements.

I only have 6 tickets. :D I only did the "freebies", just enough to get the free game (Alien Breed 2) and the TF2 shades.

I have most of the games required for the rest of the activities, but I just don't care enough to actually try and get the achievements. I guess I just have no desire. I don't need 10 more games sitting in my Steam library, unplayed.
