have you played Rome? it is absolutely epic. but the mechanics and overall polish in Shogun are far superior. I do prefer the Roman time period though, and names that actually mean something to me.

I think I got burned out from the battles, as great as the system is, so I think I'll take the advice from the poster above and just autoresolve more often.

Never played it. In fact I think the last strategy game I played for more than a few minutes was Warcraft 3 or Empire Earth, whichever one came out last. :hmm:

Adding more to the pile of games I can't get to as it is. Bought Borderlands GOTY even though I already had the original + a bit of DLC on the 360 with 1 very developed character. Bought both NV DLC packs yesterday and I've barely started the vanilla game. Just bought Beat Hazard pack. Got Alien Swarm 2 with my tickets.

And the worst part is I'm sure I'm not done.

You should be able to import your character to the PC version of Borderlands using WillowTree. I've never done it, but I'm pretty certain it has a Save As feature, so you would put your saves on a thumb drive, open them in WillowTree (I believe opening it requires some application to get them off the stick), and save as the PC version of the save file. Of course, you could also just use the same data (experience, weapons, etc) and just put the same values into a character on the PC.

All in all, WillowTree is your friend! :)

That sounds awesome! I just need to find a USB drive I'm not using elsewhere. Very nice.

Yeah, I looked it up, and it looks like you click on the WillowTree logo, go to Open. Then once it's opened, go to the WT logo > Change Save Format > PC. Then WT logo > Save As should work for ya :).

You may want to consider doing the Oasis + DLC Teleport map while you're there as you need to add the Oasis map to your list of teleport destinations in WillowTree.

Looks like this is the first day where I don't buy anything. The only thing I was considering was NSF: Shift and no one has kind things to say about it. I prefer street racers to track racers anyway.

Why? What does that do, or why would I need to do it?

It adds teleporters to the DLC as gearbox never put any in and the Knoxx DLC is HUGE and involves a lot of driving just to get anywhere. Plus parts of it are bugged so that you have to fight your way on foot even after you clear it out and are supposed to be able to drive and make it eaiser.

yup. You need Oasis to get any worthwhile use out of the DLC--if you like to farm, that is.

yeah, GW: EoTN has the hall of Heroes where you can store your character achievements that in some undisclosed way, transfer over to GW2. ...this was "kind of a big deal back when EoTN was first released, and the planned release of GW 2 was less than a year away....back in 2006? lol.

it looks like GW2 will be out before the end of the year. ...good luck getting one of those achievements before then. But some of the later ones aren't too hard, as they changed some of the requirements.

Just installed a demo to get the ticket. Now the question is how the hell do I remove it from my games list?

Can someone confirm that the DRM has been removed from Steam Birds of Prey? Looks to be the case.

Just right click on the name of the game and select "Delete Local Content". That'll uninstall it. I'm not sure how to just remove it from the list...

I got MNC its pretty awesome.

Agreed. Definitely worth it for $3.75 if you like a game that's a cross between TF2 and DOTA. It also comes with a guest pass to give to a friend to play. It says it expires in a month so does that mean whoever I give it to has that long to play it? Or I have that long to distribute it and the pass only lasts 3-7 days or so?

I bought the game a few months ago and the guest pass was a week-long pass if I remember right.

once you delete local content i'm pretty sure it removes it from the list, since it was a demo and not a paid for game.

I'm still debating over whether to get the Need for Speed pack. I wouldn't mind a more "serious" racer (Shift 1 & 2) since I have pretty much all arcade style ones now.

Yes, it does remove demos permanently from your list. Unless you download it again of course. :p

I'm going to guess it's stuck in limbo right now. They might have tried to update, it didn't turn out as planned when went live, so it's like this for the moment.
