So tempted to get TW: Shogun 2. Should I get it, considering I have not even started playing Empire & Napoleon?

No. But I did (got it on a 'big sale' for $30 before playing those, then got it again w/DLC for $18, now have an unopened CD version to deal with.)

Coal is around 40 cents per atm I think, it fluctuates 10 cents depending on the person. I've gotten some games by trading coal so far either by itself or to sweeten the deal. Ended up ahead in both deals and was happy 😀

Looking at getting Assassin's Creed. Seen some posts on it above, thanks. I believe in order of release it went AC -> AC2 -> AC Brotherhood -> AC Revelations.

Revelations is too new and expensive for me right now (would be something to pick up if I liked an earlier one) so it sounds like AC2 is the way to go, right? $5 for the Deluxe Edition is pretty crazy.

And yeah, where was I to miss the $10 or $15 latest Deus Ex?? I need to keep an eye out for that one in the new two days, and I probably should have bought Skyrim for $40 the other day so I may do it if it goes on sale again.
Son of a! Like 45 minutes after I posted this, I went back to Steam and seen only 0:1:15 remaining on the sale which is the one I wanted (Assassin's Creed 2). So I try to hurry up and login and enter my credit card info, but the last screen before purchase, it was back to $13.59. I guess if I had saved my payment info I maybe would have got it but maybe not.

Dang it! I would have bought it when I first posted but I didn't realize it was under the sale ending soon; I thought it just started earlier in the day.

Don't quote me on this, but won't all the games be on sale again on the very last day or something?

They *might* do a recap day the last day, but if they do it will be just the best selling games from all the daily deals, not all of them. That is if they even do it. They didn't do it for the Autumn sale and haven't done one for this sale yet. They did one last year in the middle of the Holiday Sale and at the end and did one at the end of the Autumn/Black Friday sale

They don't have to be played in any particular order. Just go ahead and buy it. You know you want to. 😀

What "market" are you trading in? I agree that coal is "valued" at about 40-50 cents each. Thats on the Steam Trading forum "market".

But it's damn near impossible to trade there, if you ask me. You post what you have and you're immediately on page 4!

You're not supposed to bump your own posts, but seems like everyone is. Maybe I should be more aggressive and break the rules too.......

I don't remember the Give & Get sale having a recap, but I know the 2009 Steam holiday sale had a recap day at the end. I'd be surprised if there wasn't one this year.

r/steamgameswap I think is one of them... alsoe perhaps r/gameswap

People are gonna laugh at me, but IMO, 4chan's /v/ is the best place to do Steam trading. No rules to worry about, no post limits (other than the regular anti-flooding/spamming measures) and Steam's trading system is bulletproof, so it's not like anyone can scam you.

The Steam forums themselves I've been trading on. I found all my trades either from posting in someone else's thread making them an offer and someone else PM's me saying they will do it or I do the same as they did, look in someone else's thread and see a deal I like and PM that person 😀

That's what's keeping me from buying the game also.

Yea, I get the impression that this game's DLC actually contributes a lot unlike oh...Dragon Age DLC which is like a 5 minute addition to the campaign...

And I'm trying to come out of this with enough to get TOR when school starts back...

Anyone actually like Universe Sandbox or Solar 2? They look cool but then...maybe not, and it's always awesome to get things off the wishlist without spending $$...

arg, tempting me with Human Revolution for $17! hmm.. I've been so good and not spent anything on the xmas sale yet! But I HR looked pretty cool, and I've been wanting something other than all the strategy games I've been playing pretty exclusively lately. But I still have thanksgiving sale games I haven't even tried, feels wrong..

Thanks KaOTik! I've been doing it wrong. I've been posting new threads and instantly watching my post get burried. I'll start posting in others and making PM offers.

Hmm... probably will pick up Deus Ex HR. I have all of the Fallout NV DLC except Dead Money and Honest Hearts which I've read are probably the two weaker ones.

NP, hope it helps. I do tried making my own threads but found out like you did they got buried so quick that it wasn't worth it 😀
