2011 Steam Autumn Sale: DEAD :(

Has anyone played that game called "Trauma"? For $1.75 (and not even a daily deal) I should probably just get it but I figured I'd ask.

Also, just curious. Does steam, or their...subcontracting game publishers, ever phase out games? for example, when "Random City Sim 2013" comes out do they phase out "Random City Sim 2011"(leaving 2012 up til 2014)? I've only been keeping an eye on Steam games for less than 18 months so I've not been able to form an opinion on that yet.

I think trauma came with one of the humble bundle deals so you might already have it.

Somehow I have a feeling I'm going to feel dumb for asking this but what are the humble bundles? Are they steam deals? I've never seen such a pack of that name on steam. I've seen them mentioned on this forum but never saw the pack themselves.

Wow, somehow I've never seen that site before.

Do the deals cycle around, or is it a completely new bundle every time and nothing from before comes back?

They run them every couple months or so. I don't think there's been a repeat of any game in the bundles yet, but I could be wrong.

anyone have an idea of when the Amazon sale is supposed to end? I'm sitting on the Witcher 2, waiting to see what Steam does...

Some of the next deals have been leaked early. The Witcher 2 is one of them.

Already own FEAR 1 and 2, haven't even finished FEAR 1 so not interested in 3 yet.
Not interested in Splinter Cell as I don't support Ubisoft.
Might get TW2 if the price is low enough.

Might get K&L if it's dirt cheap.

Awesome! Payday: The Heist is on sale. I'll look forward to seeing a bunch of new people playing it then.

Also, LIMBO for $2.49! YES!

Oh, also in for Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, and Splinter Cell 1.

Today is certainly one of the better sale days.

What's the chances we see the Witcher 2 on for <$20 before the end of the year? I'm tempted to pick up that and Limbo today.

That game looks hella fun, but probably best with buddies. Reminds me of L4D, but without zombies.

I think there's a good chance for the Christmas sale, if you're in no rush to play it you can wait less than a month for it.

civ 5 complete for $16 looks decent to me. I know a lot of the hardcore folks hate civ 5; but I'm a wimp ....

It should be noted that The Witcher 1 is $3. That's not a bad price for the best goddamn RPG I've ever played. I bought it for $5 during last year's holiday sale, not expecting much. I certainly wasn't expecting an incredibly deep, involving, extremely-well written game. But that's what I got. If I knew what kind of experience I was in for, I would've easily payed $50 for it. Great game.

currently $16 on Amazon....

and no, it can't be activated on steam. That's why I was asking shortly before today's sale went live. I wanted a competitive price on steam so that i could download it through there. I might be willing to pay extra, though, just for steam.

I'm a hardcore Civ guy and I own it. Played about 120ish hours. Well worth $16 if you're a Civ fan. I did wait until it came down to about $20 though. At that price and below it's a steal.

Still like Civ IV best, but Civ V is fun enough to enjoy.
