2011 Scion tC - holy crap?

I kind of like the current one. The Avensis is a terrible platform for performance (heavy, doesn't handle all that well, FF), but the Scion is a decent commuter car for sure.

The front of the new Mazda3 does indeed look ridiculous. I'm betting that someone with a nice clean aftermarket replacement front clip could make some serious bank.

why so much hate on the tC's? for what i paid for mine it was a steal at 7 grand with 30k on the clock and 2 years old. Manual so its atleast some what sporty, atleast to me. I think it happends to be the best car available for 7 grand and two years old.

Guess you just explained. People hate it so much for some reason, and that's why 2 yr/30k miles tC is only $ 7k while brand new costs $ 17k. Good deal for you anyway.

I'm not trying to talk shit to you but just because a car has a manual tranny as opposed to auto doesn't make it any more sporty. The good thing about the tC's is that they have a lot more torque compared to other 4 bangers in it's price category which you can really feel when driving around town.
