Believe stiilers and pack have about same number of IR entries as the colts while we're still riding that dead horse.

Not quite. The Packers are close, but Colts still have more.

The irony is delicious considering you blamed the Jets' loss in the AFC Championship last year on them missing 2 or 3 guys. Last time I checked, missing 20 guys is more than missing just 3 guys.

You really like proving you are stupid, don't you?

Apparently, injuries are only a valid excuse if you're a Jets fan. If the Jets beat a team which has lost nearly 40% of their first and second string players, it is due to the awesomeness of Mark Sanchez and has nothing to do with injuries.

Just for the record everything in this thread is 100% null and void as you simply CAN NOT start a super bowl thread a month before the game is even played.

I implore the regulars in here, to go post in the Conference Championship thread that is stickied, and let this thread die.

The difference being, and as I've said before, the jets injuries were those that occurred during the game that mattered. And if they were such meaningless injuries, nance wouldn't have spent so much time during the current broadcast discussing them and how it affected the previous championship game.

The Steelers will crush them. The Jets can beat a team with a suspect defence but when they play a team with a great defence they are fucked, especially with a barely adequate QB like Sanchez. Get pressure on him and he'll fold.

:D

I love how the Jets are trolling football fans everywhere.

Hate us all you want, you can't beat us!

One of our wide receivers should hold a press conference where he talks about Big Ben and uses the word "rape" like a dozen times.

Yeah, and the Jets didn't have to go pick up guys off the street to play key positions either. The Colts were literally down to the 4th or 5th guy playing a position in some cases.

I guess when Nance discusses injuries, that makes them a valid excuse then? I'm sure he and Simms discussed all the Colts' injuries too.

You guys have nothing to brag about until you actually win a Super Bowl. Be prepared for a huge shitstorm if Rapelisberger and company beat you guys. I'm sure the excuses will start flowing immediately:

1. Errr, uh, our chief waterboy was injured!
2. Someone stole Rex's Dr. Scholls foot pads and he was in pain the whole game!
3. Our lead cheerleader had a hangnail. We were DONE at that point!

For the record, I think the Jets can beat the Steelers and I even hope they do to some extent -- that is, until I read more drivel from Jets fans. :D

You're right, the jets weren't turned down this year by some guy that wanted to keep his job as a train conducter.

As for next week, I want to wait and see the late week stiiler injury report for the oline. They were down to 0 backups on saturday and that could be a key matchup this weekend.

Whether or not we win the superbowl, we'll win at least as many superbowls as the Patriots and Colts this year.

I hope you don't think the Colts have bragging rights because of what happened four years ago. That's ancient history. Jets fans might as well brag about SB 3.

The Colts were in the game last year, don't forget. The Jets have accomplished nothing yet, not even a division or conference championship.

And no one remembers teams who can't manage to win division or conference championships, so you'd better hope the Jets manage to win.

But we will always remember how the Patriots went 18-0 and lost in the SB to a giant underdog :).

I've always seen the Patriots as a winning team just like the Cults. Jets always seem to be in a "rebuilding" phase.

I'd put the Steelers in there with the Pats and Colts too. Those three teams have been the class of the AFC for sure.

As for the Jets, I don't think you'd get much argument from their fans on that one. :D

I'm thinking the Steelers will win their 7th superbowl.

Rooting for the Packers and Rodgers to get a ring so the GM of the Packers looks great for his belief in Rodgers. He seems like a cool guy anyway. Plus, maybe Woodson can finally get a ring after Tuck Rule.

Predicting that the Steelers win it with the playoff experience of Ben. Troy looked unhealthy or really slow or something against the Jets. Maybe the 2 weeks off will help. Pouncey's health may be a factor since they fumbled the snap twice with the backup center.

This is going to be an exciting game for me. Dome conditions for Rodgers, good chance he will light it up.

Both Qb's really ggood outside the pocket. Should be interesting. If driver and Jennings make those one handed catches like they did vs the Giants, it should be a good night for them.

I too hope to see Rodgers take one home.
