Psst, you must be new here, we usually don't have an sb thread until we know who's going to be in it. Else there's already football threads.

You guys can pick playoff games as well.

Green Bay looks like the strongest team in the wild card match ups.

Hard to see anyone beating the Patriots. Right now they look as good as the '85 Bears.

LOL, let's not get crazy and carried away. The '85 Bears would've clobbered any team in the league this year. The 85 Bears were a legendary team and no team this year can say that. While the Pats may be 14-2, the league was pretty weak this year and they are, in my opinion, one of the weakest 14-2 teams I've ever seen. I know many here will disagree with that assessment, but the league was just really bad this year IMO.

I do think the Pats will win the SB though but I won't be surprised if they don't. With the way the league is this year, I wouldn't even consider it a huge upset if the Pats or Falcons lost in the playoffs. The only "major" upset that would happen with this playoff field, IMO, is if the Pats played the Seahawks in the Super Bowl and the Seahawks won. I think that is about as likely as me crapping out a winning Powerball lottery ticket in the next 5 minutes.

Though I would like to see the Bears go all the way, I don't think their offense will score more than 10 points next week. KC seems like the underdog no one expects to make an upset, but that is the point. I think KC is going to win by a very small margin all the way to the SB. Call me crazy, but that is my prediction. At this point in the game it's about endurance and heart, and with a little luck, I think KC has the best of everybody.

I'm disappointed in the Eagles. I suppose the kicker gets some blame though.

Total fail prediction. The only blow out this week end and it was KC. I cursed them.

Hate to say it but I agree with this. I'm a big fan of Brady but all it takes is for him to have an off day and that team is toast against Pitt/Balt winner but not too worried about NYJ. I can still name several members of the 85 bears and numerous players from the great 49er teams of the 80s and even some from the Steeler teams from the 70s.

If the Pats win the SB I'll remember Brady and Welker but nobody else.

Hey, FYI, I'm gonna start a Super Bowl thread next year in August. I'll just update it weekly with the possibilities.
