How is the VQ unrefined?
I can't really think of a smoother/more powerful/better running engine than a VQ35. Wards 10 best engines list would agree. (Not for the last 2 years but most years prior)
That's why I keep getting cars with that engine. It rocks!

I agree. I have a G37 and I absolutely love it. The engine can be gentle and quiet or it can growl like a beast depending how you want to drive it. It has a lot of power for sure and pulls hard in DS mode. I haven't timed myself but it feels faster than 5.4s for 0-60.
One thing I noted about the G37 that it's definitely a sports car first and luxury car second.

It doesn't appear it's been discussed much but isn't the best part that Ford is bringing back the 5.0 badge?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Say good bye to the puny 4.6 badge and welcome back the dominant 5.0!

I highly doubt your friend's parents sound like a Bostonian. No, we do not drive Mustangs here!

There are probably more import luxury cars here than all the domestic cars combined.
