Every Kia every person I have ever known has owned has been a piece of crap.

Anecdotal, I know, but Kia equates to a total lack of quality in my mind.

Every KIA i've personally owned turned out great. I put almost 200,000 hard miles on my 96 Sportage over a span of 10 years before I gave it away.

Every car manufacturer has its ups and downs.

Back to the OP, KIA supposedly has a designer that came from AUDI so expect more stylish (or at least more stylish than before) designs from their entire lineup.

Agreed! Plz I never want to own one again, not in this lifetime. It's all flashy thats all, 'All that glitters is not gold' was the moral I learned.

New sportage looks good as does new sonata. This is the first time Kia/hyundai have made cars that don't look like they were designed by Stalin and I think it's going to help their sales hugely.
