It looks like the ripped off every car in the segment like they always have. The tail lights are 3 series, the side looks like a Accord, the front has a lot of similarities to the Mazda 6/Ford Fusion, the side mirrors from a C class, and it has the same shape of a 4 door Solara.

Hyundai is on a Styling tear right now. I really like the lines on it.

Always thought it was funny when people commented on the styling of one car copying another one. Like no one else has ever done it. Ever. Geez, how many styling concepts do you think are out there??

Everyone copies everyone else. Period. Toyota is just as guilty as Ford, GM does it as much as Mercedes, Honda does it as well as Dodge. Everyone does it.

They do say that it's the best form of flattery, don't you know?? ;)

The Interior

looks like a better version of a prev gen (7) Accord's which means that I may be getting one in few years since I can not stand the new Accord.

Also, hyundai-blog.com speculates that it may be coming with a 2.4 l engine good for around 200hp. Also, a 6-speed manual may be available.

:D

Japanese, are you watching? Koreans about to eat your lunch again, like they did in every other industry where you got complacent and sat on your laurels.

Excellent!

Looks great - stylish, great lines!

Looks like it could be a helluva hatchback 5-door Xover AWD design much like the Venza.

Do you even know what you're talking about? All I can see is a bunch of Hyundai bashing with no basis whatsoever. As far as I can see, the details are completely original although the general shape is definitely derived from the CLS. Using your logic, everything is a ripoff of everything else.

If anything the front lights look like those from the Legacy and the tails from Hyundai's own Genesis Coupe, just stretched a lot. The grill looks like an extremely stylized version of the one on the Genesis. Using my logic, Hyundai has been quite good at sticking with a design language that's completely original to the company.

i was just going to try and find some comparison photos but u did all the work for me, nice.

anyway, u say the side mirrors look like? please tell me how, they are around, in the same area of the car, have a turn signal light on it. how different do u want side mirrors to look, nub

how are side profiles supposed to look? its a sedan, the side will show the fender, the roofline, the 2 doors, and the trunk area. all will generally look the same.

the car looks all good and fine to me, i'd check it out when looking for a car in that segment

Clearly the Headlights should be in the back, front Wheels should be perpendicular to the rear Wheels, and the Doors should be Beads.

Come on Hyundai, how hard can it be?

Overall a nice design, what's up with the speedo going to 240 mph, LOL. By going that high you give up resolution at lower speeds (one which the sonata will be driving)..

Agreed. That is one terrible design. The side profile is particularly horrible. I wouldn't be surprised if this next generation Korean Kamry steals market share from Toyota, but I wouldn't buy one (or a Camry for that matter).

I see a resemblance to the front of the Fusion and elements from other cars. The details are not original from what I see. The car looks like a lot of good design elements melted together into one car. Volvo, BMW, Mercedes, some Cadillacs, Acura, Jeep, some Chrystler, Porsche, Hummer, Land Rover, Ferrari, Audi, and many others have very original designs.

I know people like you and LOUISSS feel the need to defend anything said about certain cars and feel that they have to somehow convince us to like what you like.
