For being an $84k car, I see more of them than I do Z06's which are cheaper.
I was recently in LA area (mostly Laguna Beach, but also Santa Monica, Downtown area, etc), and I think I agree. GT-R was much more common out there.
Here in DFW it's the opposite. I see at least 50 C6 Vettes vs. a GT-R, and at least 10-1 Z06 over GT-R.
I don't know if it's demographics (doubtful, considering the immense popularity of performance imports here : RUF, Lambo, Ferrari, Aston, Lotus, Maserati, etc, along with M, AMG, S/RS) or just marketing/distribution.
Totally meaningless observation : Most of the GT-R's I see are driven by black men that look to be 30-40 years old. Most of the M3's I see are driven by asiam nen that seem to be 20-30 years old. Most of the Vettes I see are driven by white men that appear to be 50-60 years old.
