Yes, it was definitely a well-played game on both fronts.

I swear it's rare I actually see an event where a pulled goaltender actually results in that team scoring.
Too bad Crosby exists. I thoroughly dislike that fella. More so now than ever. 😛

No, blame Canada
Blame Canada
With all their beady little eyes
And flapping heads so full of lies
Blame Canada...
With all their hockey hullabaloo
And that bitch Anne Murray too

Great game, and nice way to end the Olympics. Also a great way to beat the record for most gold medals won in a winter olympics.

Another repeat of what happened with the '08 Summer games.... A bunch of silvers & bronzes. What's with the US being content in being 2nd/3rd best? We "own the 2nd/3rd rate podium" Go Gold or Go home

I think you're missing the point in the Olympics. 😛 I'd much prefer more athletes representing my country on the podium than ONLY athletes standing on the top of the podium.

I consider it a moral victory having tied and beaten them in regulation. OT is just...well...odd. Losing that 5th man for each side just totally changes the dynamic of the game. Canada was clearly superior in the OT portions I watched.

Grats Canada, cya in 4 years 😉
