Easier said than done, these twin clutch transmissions are always a weak point. Putting in a manual would be the answer.
Putting in a manual would also slow down the shift speeds, so straight line/track speed would still be slower...although I do think they should give buyers the option of a 6MT vs a 6 speed dual clutch.
But going back to the drawing board would be the best way to go. Sure, it's not easy, but definitely not undoable either. Porsche is putting their PDK into the 911 Turbo soon, and the Turbo is putting out similar power as the GT-R. We'll have to see how reliability fares there, since the Turbo's PDK implementation will also have launch control.
