Screw that just give me a version with a 3.5l twin turbo pushing 415hp and a 6 speed manual for around $30k.

Well you'll get that with the 2010 Mustang, possibly in summer '09.

3.5l is too small. That's a little over 210 cubes.

Mustangs need moar cubes!

I've never been a Mustang guy (drive a Vette) but this is a sharp looking ride. My main gripe with them is that they are usually HEAVY, making the high HP numbers not as impressive as they could be with a lighter car. I'm guessing this one is heavy too?

Regardless, if I'm ever rich enough and can afford more expensive toys I definitely wouldn't mind one of these. The blue/white combo is gorgeous.

Meh, you're mincing words. :p

It has the Cobra badge on it, plus the SVT badges on the wheels.

It's as good as a Cobra to me.

It's about two tonnes, nearly there. ~3,X90

Something like that.

It's pretty good, looks gorgeous, and sure it could be lighter, but I suppose that just isn't the point of muscle cars. :p

Yes, but it does have a limited slip differential; a real one, not the one the '08 SRT8 has.

disclaimer: The '09 SRT8 comes with a manual and real limited slip.

Give me a Modern Vette 40K and A&A Supercharger 5K = 600+HP road hugging whiplash performance over this any day.

I hate when people make this argument... you can take any POS, put a big motor in, supercharge it and make more power.

The fact it is you won't have a warranty and when motors aren't designed for a supercharger things can go wrong fast (or you will have to run so little PSI that it isn't worth it).
