Lola said they are considering entering.
Peter Windsor is putting together a US team.
Now, Prodrive says they want to enter as Aston Martin.

26 cars on the grid. This looks good!

Sounds good. That is one thing that always got, so few cars. But at the cost it has taken in the past to run a team it was pretty self explanatory. As much as some of the new rules suck it, they have done some good on and off the track.

It looks like at this point all 2/3 teams are merely thinking about it, and we are already into the 09 season.

I don't see any of those teams on the grid in 2010, even if they buy customer engines, none of them have began designing (let alone building) their own cars.

they might be on the grid if they take over a team, but that wouldn't add any cars to the mix.

usgpe have a confirmed entry in 2010, lola and prodrive will only enter if the 30M pound spending cap is put in place. i don't think this will happen.

Litespeed F3 is working with Gascyone (former Toyota and Force India technical director) on a 2010 F1 entry.

In other news, Peter Windsor's team hopes to have a car on the tarmac by November. Renault is riding Ferrari's coattails in threatening to leave F1 based on the proposed budget cap. I think if Ferrari leaves, the sport will lose half its viewers.

Other than the different teams at the front, which was interesting at first, F1 seems to be as boring as ever.

A parade, with passes among the good cars occuring mostly in the pits.

And we still have team orders being used to determine the race winner.

Summed it up perfectly.

I see no team orders. If you are referring to Barichello's ill thought outburst after being beaten fair and square then you really don't understand the sport.

As for the parade comment I guess you haven't been watching the '09 season...

What outburst? I saw the team orders in effect myself. No one is even bothering to pretend Barrichello was beaten. He was brought in to allow Button to win. It's not illegal, so why hide?
