Not sure if they thought through the release of the new CM but that's why blood got friday back.

I like defenders, mainly cause I like the 2 leads so hope that stays around as otherwise my friday dvr schedule starts to get skimpy.

And 2.5m gets major $$ and ratings, I'll believe in a long term cancellation when I see the spring announcement for the next season and it's not included.

looks like you can add 2.5men to the cancelled pile as sheen is now out. they will probably try and prop it up for a season with someone else, but previous experience has shown this has something along a 1.5% success rate.

also himyy is here for at least 2 more years.

Fringe gets renewed!!!

Also you can add no ordinary family to the unofficially cancelled pile, no word yet but both lead characters have signed up for new pilot show projects.

Yah, I was wondering what happened to this thread.

And, No Ordinary Family is deader than a pork chop at a barbecue.

I kind of liked that show. I agree it would never work as an on going series, but I think they could've had a great 2 season story arc. It just seems like network tv wants these series to head no where for season after season. I wish they would focus more on the story line instead of seeing how far they can milk a series without doing anything.

I am about fed up with How I Met Your Mother. There is no point to any of the episodes anymore. The story hasn't moved forward in almost two seasons.

amazing race and undercover boss both get new seasons today.

Undercover Boss has been kind of lame lately.

They're sending CEO's of companies out with franchisees and other "non-employess" every once in a while...plus, their wigs are laughingly poor. You'd think they could do a MUCH better job of disguising these guys.

...No Ordinary Family is deader than a pork chop at a barbecue.

I originally liked this show in the beginning. Lost track of it, wife was still watching. Caught an episode with her the other night... WOW talk about following the same shitty track as Heroes. What a waste.

Just read that Lights Out was cancelled and that tonights the last episode. Had potiential, but never panned out.

this is actually a week or so old, but doesn't seem to have made it here yet: office, parks, and community all got return slips for next season.

here's one for all the guys out there: all my children and one life to live cancelled!!!!

also icarly on nick goes another year.

CHAOS's run has been short lived and is now gone for good, only to be outdone by the Paul Reiser show which lasted one week less. Running Wilde is officially a goner, but the final unaired eps will be shown shortly as fill in material.

The Paul Reiser show got NO advertisement.

I just saw it on the TV listings and decided to DVR it. It was certainly good enough to keep it on the air....especially considering the other shyte that's on TV.

Again, the studio did a HORRENDOUS job of giving an infant show legs to stand on (i.e. promos bitch!).....

There's a reason it was dumped on the air now instead of last fall. The network knew it was a giant pile of shit and didn't want to waste more money on it.

CW renews The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, 90210, Supernatural and America’s Next Top Model.

of course the only show on the network work watching hasn't yet been mentioned, bad news for nikita?

I read somewhere that Nikita has a bad young person demo and that might kill it on the CW which is teeny bopper oriented.

you can put this one in the bitter much category:

The facts are these: Two and a Half Men‘s main man, Chuck Lorre, is vested in keeping the show going by any means possible — and most definitely sans Charlie Sheen.

“Chuck Lorre is fighting to keep the show alive without the star it was originally created for,” a source told The Daily Beast last week. The Hollywood Reporter is now echoing that sentiment, saying that Lorre has presented close associates and Men costar Jon Cryer with “a new creative direction” that will subtract Charlie Harper from the mix but keep Alan, Jake et al caught up in comedic capers for at least another season to come.

As told to THR by an insider, Lorre assured Cryer that the reboot “would involve a significant role for him, and the introduction of a new, yet-to-be-cast character.”

Lest anyone think Lorre might steer TV’s most watched sitcom in a very new direction — one perhaps ill-fitting the show’s current title — a studio source tells TVLine that by hook or by crook, Two and a Half Men will keep that name should it move forward. After all, unless the Valerie of Valerie’s Family just up and leaves, name-changes are a risky proposition, even more so for a long-running series such as Men.

So what do you think Chuck Lorre has up his sleeve? The official word on Men likely will be handed down by the time CBS holds its annual upfront presentation on May 19, so the time to speculate is now. Will Charlie go on the lam for heaven knows what, freeing up his room to be occupied by, say, a cad cousin? Will Jake be “promoted” to full “Man” status, allowing for a new young’un — maybe Alan has a not-legit kid out there? — to enter the nest?

We are fast approaching "Charlie who?" time.

Any word on V yet? I haven't seen anything in the media yet, but I may have missed it.

I watched the first few (think it was only 4?) episodes and then they took a break for a couple months - they should of killed it then. I was a big fan of the original when I was a kid, but this mess was just killing that childhood memory.

The last few episodes were pretty good. The issue was that they kept dragging it out and flat-out lied in some of the previews -- multiple times, they promised something important would be revealed and multiple times, they disappointed.
