As for the topic of this thread:
I'll say the same thing I say every year and then you guys can attack me.
We get huge lists of seemingly awesome games every autumn or winter.
Most of the games on these lists will never see the light of day.
Of the handful that do, most will be seriously late, usually bumped back to next years list.
Of the tiny few we do see, most will suck balls. Many of the ball sucking games will still get awesome reviews and ridiculous media attention.
Of course thats always a personal opinion. Many people loved Doom 3. Thats alright, theres nothing wrong with that.
