What a game one this is!!! Bryant and Anthony match up is going to be one to watch the rest of the series!!! :Q

Stupid@ss mistakes by denver. That's exactly why they usually don't make it out of the first round.

Good to see Anthony play like the bruising sharp-shooter he's capable of being. Let's see if he can bring it every game like this (for the first time in his nba career.)

melo outweighs kobe by 25lbs...kobe was getting thrown around a little bit by melo...

p.s. kobe's wife is super hot

LOL @ poor Denver coaching. Having a 6'1" player inbound?

And was it Mark Jackson who said George Karl was a HoF coach? :disgust:

Mark Jackson is almost like John Madden. He says blatantly obvious things.

I like Jeff Van Gundy more. He reacts like a fan when he see's stupid foul calls by the refs or bone head plays by the players.

I blame George Karl for the loss tonight.

The Nuggets players actually did pretty good. It was the coaching that killed them tonight.

George Karl needs to watch some serious video tape for the next 48 hours!!!!!

I like JVG - he's great.

What I meant about mark Jackson is, Karl's not really a HoF coach. He's a good coach who's been around a long time.

12 missed FT's. Not the coach's fault.

Having a 6'1" player inbound the ball when obscured by a larger player - that's the coach's fault.

Lakers played in control at the end. Good job by them.

Thank god the Lakers pulled that out.

Melo was on fire and Denver didnt get him the ball in the 4th? I would be pissed as a Nuggets fan.

All I can say is the 3 point shot saved us tonight. We need to lock down or the Nugs will steamroll us.

On a side note, I cant think of one team that wont be going after Ariza this off season....he is amazing.

Kobe was the difference. Clutch.

No, Denver's mistakes were the difference. Poor throw in on the last ball, missed free throws, and other mistakes all lead to letting the Lakers barely win it.
