Wtf is with these stupid ticky tack fouls. Its like they want Lebron to win. Tire out everyone else.

That technical on Kobe still boggles my mind. He draws the personal foul but then gets T'd up. At first I was like Artest got the T and that would bullshit. He walks away and gets T'd he might as well just push and shove since it'll make no difference.

How do "ticky tack fouls" lead to LeBron winning?

Kobe had a bad rep for whining, so he's probably more likely to get a "T" than some other players. That's why the Celtics get so many technicals.

And, of course, we all know Artest's rep...

How odd is that?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers blow Houston outta the Staples Ctr Sunday afternoon, though.

I have a funny feeling the Magic are going to win, too. Boston's just gotta be outta hats with rabbits in 'em.

How does Ray Allen go 0/7 for 3 pointers? He has the best looking shot in the league I swear. I almost feel bad for him.
That said, go Magic.

I think he's like 5 for his last 32 or something.

IMO, the Magic need to go to Boston, have Boston play fairly well, and then take the game from them. I think this would be necessary for the Magic to have the intestinal fortitude to compete with the Cavs.

artest had gotten one flagrant between his suspension and these playoffs, his rep at this point doesn't reflect reality.

Lakers can't beat a team who's technically not as good as them AND is missing their star player. HAHAHA I LOVE IT! Lakers could go undefeated in the regular season but always manage to choke when the finals come around. Even if they win game 7, they'll have no chance of winning the title. And honestly I think the Rockets will take game 7 then I can watch Kobe on the news saying how his teammates are worthless and he wants to be traded to the Bulls.
I hope when he does it (which he will) the upper management at the Lakers don't bitch out like they did a few seasons ago when he was acting like a bitch with the "trade me trade me I hate the laters!" FUCK HIM replace him with somebody not as good, but a better team player. I loved watching them fail so badly tonight.

Violent? This is like pre-school scuffles over a pacifier compared to even the 80s and early 90s. Back then, fighting was just a technical and pretty much expected in the playoffs.

You have an unhealthy obsession with Kobe. It scares me.

Hard for LA to win with a box score like this:

Fisher: 21 minutes played, 1-7
2 points

Bynum: 19 minutes played, 0-3
0 points

Ariza: 30 minutes played, 2-6
7 points

------------------

9 points from 3 of your 5 starters. That's not good.

They had 25 points from the bench, of which Farmar accounted for over half of.

You don't win games with that little of output from 90% of your players in the playoffs.

Ray Allen has an amazing looking shot. Its the EXACT same every time. Just damn deadly. Its very surprising when he has a bad game considering how solid his fundamentals are.

That's the thing with being a pure shooter. You have a particular motion that you go through that is basically automatic. Hitting 10, 15, 20 shots in a row is no big deal.

Now you get a case of the shanks where it's either a mental block or a bum shoulder or elbow and then your shot is thrown off. It doesn't take much to be off enough to miss the basket. You over correct and make things worse further killing your confidence.

You just have to keep firing until you get it back.

What I'm saying is that some refs may be more inclined to "T" up Artest more quickly because of his reputation, not that he's earned his rep lately.

Still recovering, I guess.

Bynum seems like he is going the way of injury obscurity. If he is taking this long to recover from injuries when he is this young, what is going to happen later on down the road when an injury happens? The recovery time can only get worse.

Yeah, and all the Lakers fans had conveniently forgotten that the Lakers didn't pursue Gasol until Bynum got injured.
