Anyone see a #1pick vs #2 pick in the finals? aka Lebron vs Carmelo... would be epic but i dont think it is what the NBA wants...

uh, Melo was the #3 pick, Darko was #2. But I can see how you could forget that seeing as Darko has fallen off the face of the earth.

okay i admit i completely forgot there was someone between them... many people had also already written off 'melo

Chauncey Billups line: 40 mins, 10-16 fg, 3-6 3pt, 5-5 ft, 7 reb, 12 ast, 1 blk, 2 to's, 28 pts.

Outstanding performance in a close-out game.

GO NUGGS!!!!!!!

They will suprise everyone and at least get to the Finals against the Cavs. Not a single person gives the Nuggs any credit at all and still aren't even though they are destroying teams at a high level - the only team more dominant is the Cavs and they have yet to play a single team

And then you will wake up.

^--- still dreaming about that scumbag kobe

Kobe has accomplished more in his life and done more for this country than you ever will. Does that make you cry in your pillow at night?

You're right...I doubt Phokus has ever raped a girl

Do Pistons fan forgive their management for that mistake? One of the most stacked drafts in recent memory, and they totally blew it.

I guess since the Pistons made 6 straight Eastern Conf. Finals & won a championship, not as much is made of this huge blunder as might be the case. I've seldom heard Joe Dumars being held accountable for this via the mainstream media.

BTW, last night during the game there was mention of the fact that this is Chauncey's 7th straight conference final. Pretty impressive!

I just want the Magic to burn in hell now. I still can't get over how retarded they are.

Do you agree with Howard calling out SVG?

It doesn't matter what happened, you can't call out your boss in front of everyone. Other people would get fired for that. He's a young kid and hopefully he'll learn that now. He was pissed which is understandable after dropping that huge lead but you can't do that.

All-NBA 1st team - Kobe, LeBron, Wade, Howard, Dirk
2nd team - CP3, Brandon Roy, Duncan, Pierce, Yao
3rd team - Chauncey, Tony Parker, Melo, Shaq, Gasol

My boy Parker. Good job. Glad they chose him. He had an awesome year.

I agree it's generally bad form. However, in the past, other stars have done it.

Magic called out Paul Westhead.
Jordan called out Doug Collins.
Iverson's called out... almost everyone.

The problem is, coaches as not perceived as the "boss". A coach is generally more expendable than a star player.

Then Stan Van Gundy dissing his Magic fans.......seriously are the Magic one of the dumbest teams out there now?

It all goes away if they win... 😉

Yep im not sure who originally said it, but I heard Barkley once say "Winning is the deodorant that covers all stink"

Seems like the Lakers and Rockets are bipolar, they play well one day, and then like utter crap the other.

No that's just the Lakers being the Lakers. Rockets shouldn't be playing this well without Yao but they are. Lakers do this many times and lose to teams they should easily beat. Lakers have size advantage but without Yao Rockets have the speed.
