Lamar is great, Fisher is great, without Kobe I still see them as contenders, maybe even Champs. Sure he's the best player on the team by far. Lamar has never really thrived when he was "the guy". Reminds me in a way of Paul Pierce in that regard. Pierce did very well when Antoine Walker was there - play-offs, Eastern Conf. finals - even tho Walker was kind of a lunkhead. Then, once Antoine was gone, he struggled more in the big spot. Lamar looks more comfortable as the 3rd option on offense.
