If I was LeBron I would have a team meeting and tell everyone they suck and should commit sepuku for not stepping up in the series and costing him a championship.

Why isnt he making his team better? He is taking a million shots, getting his points, but his team isnt winning.

His team isn't making their shots. If he wasn't putting up all these 40+pt games, they wouldn't even be close. Remember, LeBron isn't Kobe, LeBron is a passing guy but when your team isn't making their shots, you have to take it upon yourself to try to get the momentum going to your team. Delonte West and Mo Williams finally had decent games but if they would have had games like this before, they wouldn't be down 3-1.

they arent hitting shots because he isnt getting them involved. that, and the rest of the team sucks balls

i don't get why Z is getting any playtime...it should be a healthy rotation of ben wallace, joe smith, and varejao against howard... no double teams...have bron guard turkoglu and wally/pavlovic on rashard lewis...

Delonte West did his job. 17 pts, 5 rbd, 7 ast. 0 TO.

Also, to be fair, Cavs are playing the team that is the worst possible matchup for them.

The Cavs on a whole are putting the whole game on LeBron which is unfair to him. He's doing all the heavy lifting. Yes West did have a good game but one player in one game having a good game isn't enough. What happened to the regular season Cavs??? New Master of Panic???

West, Ilgauskas and Varejao have been pretty much what they were all season. It's Mo Williams who's killing the Cavs, and Mike Brown for not doing anything creative. Some bench play would be nice, too.

The coach's job is to put his players in a position to succeed, and Brown hasn't done that in this series.

The thing is that all their shooting percentages were down a lot. They made their points but missed too much.

I didnt see him giving them a chance late in the 4th. All I saw was Lebron trying to do it all himself, hoping to get foul calls every time.

Its Mo Williams who isn't hitting his shots, 5/15 = 33%, 0/3 from 3pt land. In fact his numbers in the playoffs have dropped off.

Rest of the Team minus Lebron
Delonte West - 7/15 = 46%
Z - 5/9 = 55%
Varejao - 4/8 = 50%
Bench of Wally, Gibson and Wallace - 5/11 = 45%

But ultimately it is Lebron committing 8 turnovers and killed the Cavs.

LBJ is getting his team involved - he's made some exceptional passes. On offense, it really is as simple as "Mo Williams is killing them".

8 TO's wouldn't have been that bad, except 7 of them came in the 4th qtr/OT.

That killed the Cavs as much as anything.

Yea seems that LeBron did too much and got tired and sloppy.

And LeBron is still averaging over 7 assists per game in the series, even with his teammates struggling.

I don't think anyone here doubts the Magic are a very good team. But Mo Williams is missing a lot of open shots, and he's also making poor decisions.

Also, the Magic barely got past the vastly depleted Boston Celtics, and were not demonstrating much mental toughness until Howard called out SVG. That seemed to be a turning point for them.

it's definitely just a matchup problem. the celtics, even without KG, could match up with the magic because they had more good players. ray allen, paul pierce, rondo... and perkins could actually guard howard. and offensively, celtics have a lot more weapons

unfortunately, cavs are just lebron and everyone else, they just can't defend the shooters of the magic and Z just can't guard dwight.

Nuggs will match up better against the Magic than the Lakers will, IMO, with all their bigs

i agree that the lakers are a better matchup for the magic. not because of their 2-0 record in the regular season. Billups and melo are a scary prospect and billups is one of the main reasons orlando hasn't been able to advance deep into the playoffs (until he got traded).

Actually, I think the Lakers will match up much better than the Nuggets will.
You don't need a lot of bigs to cover Howard.
He barely has any offensive skills - all he does is dunk the ball.
The Cavs just don't have anybody with size to guard him. The closest guy on the team is Varejao. The Celtics had Perkins with Big Baby filling in. Cavs don't have anyone even close - well, anyone that Mike Brown is willing to play.

All that aside, the Lakers will be more difficult for the Magic because the Lakers will be able to defend all their shooters. The Cavs had absolutely no defense for Turkoglu and especially, Lewis. Ben Wallace on Lewis ??? WTF

I guess the Nuggets will have Melo on Hedo and Kenyon Martin on Lewis.
The Lakers will probably have Kobe on Hedo and Odom on Lewis = shut down.
Gasol and Bynum have the quickness and length to cover Howard. Obviously they don't have the muscle in the paint but I also envision Howard getting into foul trouble trying to guard Gasol in the triangle offense for 48 mins.

No lie, if he has to guard Gasol he's got his hands full. That guy's an amazing talent. He's very tall and incredibly athletic, has a great touch and very decent range. I haven't even seen the Magic this year, but I suspect that the Lakers are the most talented team and right now I wouldn't bet against them. I'm not rooting for them but I wouldn't bet against 'em, no sir. My money's on them for the championship.
