what the fuck was that foul on lebron  BS TOTAL BS

Anthony Johnson tried to push him as he drove the lane. Stupid foul by him, as he's not going to slow down LBJ.

hmm didn't really see the push but maybe i missed it

The problem is, in the NBA the player with the ball has the right-of-way. Unless the defensive player gets to a spot 1st and has both feet set, if he makes contact with the offensive player, it will be called a foul, particularly if the offensive player is a "superstar". Regular "stars" like Paul Pierce and Dirk Nowitski don't get as much of a benefit.

This is different that football, where a wide receiver and a defensive back both have a right to a spot on the field, or the football when it is in the air.

WTF? Blocking foul on gortat?

No, it was a reach-in on Johnson.

They signaled a blocking foul. NBA.com lists it as a foul on gortat.

If it was a reach in then he should've gotten the and 1.

Whatever these rest are blind. Miss Mo throwing the ball at Howard, having a check when lewis was obvious behidn the 3 point line.

Its like they miss the obvious things but some of the "scrum" type fouls they can clearly see.

We must be thinking of 2 different fouls, then. The one I was referring to, the arena announcer (and then the commentators) said the foul was on Johnson.

Unless, of course, they changed the foul.

Last commercial break I pulled up salary by team:

Cavaliers $92.1 million
Lakers $78.2
Nuggets $74.2
Magic $69.7

Suprised to see the Cavs so much higher than the other playoff teams.

I wonder if the Cas are still paying for someone who got traded away.
