I can't believe you didn't put KG on that list. Even when he's not playing, he's doing that smug face shit during the Chi/Bos series. I just wanna bitch slap him. And guess where Lebron learn that cocaine throwing shit from. KG.

KG is abosolute trash~.
Good basketball player, but other than that... he's a worthless piece of crap.
You see this guy always cursing up a storm on the sidelines... acting all tough against smaller opponents.

I think Mcdyess had a run in with him last year or the year before... where KG threw the ball at him.
Mcdyess would've ripped him apart.

Heh, forgot about KG. He's a real punkass. I think jjsole was just picking some players that came to mind, not a comprehensive list.

How do you know LBJ got the idea of throwing chalk from KG? Jordan did it, too, just not as flamboyantly. Other players have done it, also.

KG was the one doing it last year. Lebron stole the exact way he does it, too.

You can argue that someone isnt an attention whoring asshole when they throw chalk in the air and stick their arms out.

I don't like KG's antics, but to say he's a "worthless piece of crap" is inaccurate. He does a lot of charity work, but discourages TV crews from covering it. He also donated over $1M to build houses for Katrina victims. He was also awarded the NBA citizenship award.

I'm surprised not a lot of people are jumping on Lebron James taking that many shots in the game. Problem was he was taking many shots which left the other Cavs player standing around ... problem is when Lebron starts missing the other players are still cold and will miss their shots.

I'm sure if Kobe did the same thing, everyone would be out for Kobe saying how he's not a team player ... just seems like many here loves lebron and just hates kobe .

KG did it in Minnesota, too. I'm not making any kind of argument, other than there have been other players who've done the "chalk-toss". Who's to say where LBJ got the idea from?

Wow, you're really posting this?

LBJ - 30 shots, 49 pts
Kobe - 28 shots, 40 pts

So, LBJ took 2 more shots, but scored 9 more pts. Kobe also took 3 more FT's.

Edit: LBJ also had 8 assists, Kobe had 4. I'm not criticizing Kobe's game at all - he was wonderful, and clutch - but to disparage the game LBJ played is ridiculous. The coach has got to get the players moving.

I could go on and on - nobody has the cocky attitude that LBJ, Kobe, Chris Paul, Amare, Sha have.

He should have said "elite", not great. All of the players you listed are great, none of them other than the underrated Duncan, Robinson, Dwayne Wade, and soon to be Dwight Howard if he keeps improving, would ever be considered elite.

LBJ and Kobe are on a different level of stardom from even them.

Yea I should have said elite players. Great players are different.

Like Flipped mentioned, it's who came to mind, and is just a short [starter] list for drawing a distinction between players.

KG doesn't bother me much, he's just a really emotional player, and like James, are undisputed team players that 'give their all' on both sides of the court throughout the game imo.

Its the players that aren't team players that bug the crap out of me when they celebrate their 'achievements' mid-game.

It seems like the Kobe/Lebron Finals is being set up so much by the Vitamin Water and these commercials that it is bound to not happen.

Its like planning with your SO that you are going have dinner, watch a movie, and then have sex. There is a 99.9% chance that something happens and you end up alone with a luke-warm moist microwaved hand-towel and staring at porn thumbnails in the bathroom on your smartphone trying to make out a boob.

I'm not comparing the their most recent games and saying one is better than the other. I'm just saying it seems like folks are giving Lebron more slack for taking many shots and losing the game. If Kobe were to have done that and lost the game, then people would be calling him a ball hog and not a team player.

I don't know if it falls on the coach on not ... once a player gets hot they just go, they don't check with the coach to see if it's okay to shoot or not.

I haven't heard anyone - other than the virulent anti-Kobe guys - in the last couple of years criticize Kobe's shooting habits.

Also, in years past when Kobe did shoot too much in the opinion of many pundits, he was shooting like 14-36, 32 points.

i hope the finals is nuggets - magic just so everyone will stop talking about kobe and lebron for a minute
