Just watching my fellow Angelinos celebrate.. ohh man. I'm going to go celebrate with my friends in Taiwan (I have a close college buddy here in Taipei, and he was born/raised in LA..we're going to meet up after he leaves work).

ahh right now, I just feel awesome. The Lakers is a VERY very important part of Los Angeles. The team unites a VERY diverse city into one. Koreans, Blacks, Hispanics.. all high-fiving each other. Race relations were very bad when the LA riots occured almost 20 years ago. Lakers winning it makes that a huge distance memory.

Plus we beat Boston, Cleveland and gave the LA 3 really hard fought games. Hopefully Dwight will work on his offensive skills and we can be even better next year.

That's exactly what I am thinking (besides the "us magic fans" part 😉). Howard was walking into the locker room looking pretty dejected, but he just had the season of his life. The entire Magic team did. Take some time off, work on your game in the offseason, and come back in October/November rejuvenated and even more hungry. They really won't lose anyone of too much importance to free agency.

I would think so but there's a fiba qualifying tourney in late august. I'm sure they don't need everyone and Kobe can say he wants to opt out and play in the championship instead next summer.

It doesn't seem to bother him too much though.
