Kobe fucked up.

The team got too 'Kobe-centric' in the 2nd half and he didn't deliver. That said, there wasn't a lot of margin of error with how Orlando shot so well (and played very good defense.) Lakers still could have pulled it off, but Orlando gets all the credit for the win imo.

turkaglue gets away with more forearms than anyone i've seen in a while...and they call that offensive foul on walton?

what's new, i guess. refs suck.

Apparently you havent been watching Ariza rape him for the entire series. They allow Ariza to rape him, so now he is allowed to do the forearms. Fair trade IMO.

no one is really giving credit to rashard lewis. when orlando signed him last this i though he was getting way overpaid but IMO he is well worth it.

His 3 point shooting has been phenomenal.

Great point. Rashard Lewis has definitely stepped up during the playoffs.

Rumors suggest Mike Brown's job with the cavs could be in jeopardy. It quote's the New York Daily News suggestion that there might be interest in Pat Riley replacing him.

Not an easy task to fire the coach of the year, and also somehow get lebron's nod for it and for the replacement before it all goes down.

But whatever it takes it needs to be done imo. Its nearly impossible to argue that Brown can take the cavs to the next level when he was a deer in the headlights against van gundy and orlando.

/edit:
Rumors squashed by cavs 🙁

Coach of the year is a stupid award. For more proof, look to the fact that Jerry Sloan never won but Mike Brown did.

I think the Lakers will win a close one today. I'm pretty sure Kobe been banging his head since Tuesday for missing FTs and TO @ the end.

Magic will pick up game 5 and Lakers win game 6 for the title.

Guy on guy action now???

Lakers cannot let the Magic back into this series. If they let them win tonight, it will be huge momentum in the Magic's favor. Kobe needs to get it to Gasol more. He should have done that last game as well but as always, 99% of the time he'll try to do it himself and too much it goes bad. Kobe should get hot early so they start doubling him then kick it low and Gasol will take it from there to get some pressure off Kobe. Gasol is the key to Lakers winning but they don't use him enough.

I hope so...

Hmm, fish has been finally a bit more like himself. Wow, Howard this game finally seems to come out. he just had a nice block and those set of offensive rebounds to draw a foul.
heh, he's back to his bad freethrow shooting-self too.. for now

C'mon Lakers.. box him out!! 🙁

wow.. lakers are being really pathetic right now..

SIGH.. Magic is playing really well right now. Maybe next game Lakers 🙁. Series tied 2-2. SIGH...

So... looks like it will be tied up after tonight.

I say the Magic need to win all three in Orlando for a chance to win it all. Gives them two shots in LA.

Ref's are NOT CONSISTENT. So they Give Turkeyglue the stupid jump-into-defender fouls, but not to Kobe in that last possession? In my opinion, Kobe sells it the move a lot better than anyone in the league, but sheesh... at least BE CONSISTENT about it refs.

Second straight game where Kobe has essentially collapsed post-first quarter.

Would also like to note that Kobe gets far fewer 'superstar' calls than Lebron, who gets a call on each of the last few drives Bryant has had. There have been two or three glaring ones late in games, but all in all I don't think you can complain if you're a Magic fan - these things go both ways.

Sigh, looks like my earlier post is right... Lakers faltering right there. Hopefully Lakers pick it up next game. This is sad. 🙁. Magic plays a good game again.

Ariza ties the game with a 3. Turkoglu responds with a 3. Turkoglu with a runner. Magic up by 5.

I know it's standard practice to make fun of Turkoglu, but he is *so* damn clutch every game.
