100% false. I'm using the new Mini on 2 24" LCDs (via HDMI out to displayport & mini-DVI) right this very second. I'd be happy to provide pics if you want.

That is AWESOME news! He assured me, very seriously, that the new Mini was only capable of driving one monitor at a time, despite having two jacks. I was really bummed, haha.

And just for kicks, I'd love to see photos as well 😀

Currently I know several people on the fence between a new Mini, and a Hackintosh, hinging around dual monitors.

Anyway, the Mini was more of an impulse buy for me. I had originally intended to buy the mini and sell my Macbook for a netbook (to recoup some cash). I like the Macbook too much now to go back to a netbook. *sigh*

There are rumors of an Apple netbook though... hmmm....

How long does it take for new Apple computers to start selling at places other than the Apple store? i.e. Amazon?

A pair of Westinghouse L2410NMs. Fairly good monitors for what I paid for them (sub $200 each) but there's an issue with the HDMI ports overheating that causes the display to flicker every once in a while. Works with the Mini fine though and with the gaming PC I have connected to the left monitor for when I want to play a PC game.

Granted, it's the older one, but there's a refurb Mac Mini for $419 here
