Up the horsepower by almost 200, or say 40% and don't touch the transmission? Yeah, that'll take the beating long-term. Or NOT.

The T56 is a great transmission, and the viper spec is about it's strongest. From the factory that tranny will definitely handle the additional 200hp, and beg for more. I'd be more interested in the rear end surviving, the tranny as I said before will be fine.

I think in the newest vipers they're using the TR6060? I'd have to double check. But they're all T56 based.

This is not a Viper.

Lol. Somebody didn't read the article.

Indeed.

GTR

Got me. I hear Hennessey and immediately think of the Vipers. GTR never entered my mind, haha.

Too bad it's from Hennessey. Guy is a goddamn crook.

Give it a rest - he had some questionable business practices many years ago and supposedly repaid all of his customers or made right with them.

Not after what he did. He was an out and out crook.

Link to what he did?

Yes, that really is him.

Read through this thread. You'll never want to deal with the guy after you do.

Not that I have the money or ever would have the money to be purchasing anything with the Hennesey label, but man oh man. Sounds pretty sleezy to me. On the flip side how do they know it really is him posting that? Anybody can create a username on a forum and post under what is assumed to be someone else's identity.

That said, if it is him, that's pretty unprofessional. And if even half what was described by the dissatisfied customers is true, then he's scum.

He was a sponsor of the site. He pulled out of there after the backlash from that thread here. If you search on his name you'll see he's selling a bunch of factory take off suspension components and other things. That would be hard to fake.

The guy is a lire and thief. That's it, end of story. Nothing he does beyond that counts, nothing he says can be trusted. I wouldn't own anything with his name attached to it.

Let's see, take a powerful state of art twin turbo car with a very advance AWD drive system, give more boost, probably change/modify fuel filter, delivery system a bit, lower the car with different springs and shocks... Goes faster.

Yeah, color me unimpressed.
