2009 First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit ($8k)

We are closing on our first home at the end of April (crossing fingers). I have been doing a lot of research on this topic and found that we can amend our tax return (since we already filed our taxes and got $3200 back already).

My question to everyone here is has anyone actually received their $8k tax credit check/refund yet?

We closed on Feb 10 then filed our taxes. got the refund less than 2 weeks later.

I guess I should ask "if you amended your taxes and sent in your $8k tax credit, have you received it yet?"

If so...how long did it take?

Just got the final bit of tax paperwork to file ours. Though we'll be taking the 2008 $7500 "credit" (loan).
