To each his own, but I've always found the Quattroporte kind of unwieldy. I think the Panamera is gorgeous, as is the Rapide, and think they both look a whole lot better than the Quattroporte. In the unlikely event I find myself wanting to spend $90K on an elegant performance sedan in the next year, I'll buy a CLS55 long before I'll buy a Quattroporte.

Too close to call between the Porsche and the Aston-Martin, both are drop dead gorgeous. The Maserati is not even in the same league.

Isn't the Maserati only $90K, the Aston Martin is definitely in another league and is hanging out with the Bentley GT 4Dr with it's $180K+ price tag.

What, 90k isn't enough to buy decent looking coachwork?

The Quattroporte is very cool and impressive in person. Compared to a similarly priced 7-series, S-class or A8, it just blows them away in visual appeal. There's a silver one and a black one in Colleyville that I see all the time. They look and sound amazing.

I think the Quattroporte looks like crap. But different folk different strokes.

The Rapide looks awesome. Not too keen on the Porche though.

This may be a typo, but the X-type shares platforms with the European Ford Mondeo. It's the S-type that shares the Lincoln LS platform - which is not necessarily a bad thing, it's a good platform.
