Looks pretty good, like a smaller version of the new Camry.

In a way it does look like a miniature Camry ... That's not saying much since the redesigned Camry is soooo ugly.

That's the euro corolla correct? The USDM corolla will be different and not come out in 2008.

Love it. This is a major upgrade in looks compared to the current model. Reminds me of the Lexus IS 250/350.

That said, it would be a real shame if the North American version looks substantially different than this one (i.e. more plain).

Why is it that Toyota thinks adding a couple angles to the body equals "driving dynamics" and "great excitement?" they tried that with the Camry SE, and it was just as much of a land-barge as ever.

That is freaking ugly. Apparently Toyota thinks so too, because this car supposedly bombed at focus testing and they went back to the drawing board for a new design for the U.S.

I'd say it's pleasantly boring/unoffensive and that's being nice.

Doesn't matter though, incremental upgrades are all thats needed. Give the people what they want. Theres a reason the Corolla is the #1 selling car of all time I guess. Us Americans never really got it but hey good for the rest of the world.

Supposedly Toyota is redesigning the Mattress (Blade) to look more like Mazda3.

In case somebody missed the earlier posts.............this is NOT the 2008 Corolla.

This is the 2009 Corolla!


It was supposed to be released here this year, but didn't make it. (Dunno if that was Toyota's original plan disguised or what).

Anyway...........it will basically look just like that. Don't expect changes.
